Best brawler combo attacks
#1
I thought shadowers were the ultimate combo attacking class until I played a brawler. If you think about it, you're actually forced to string multiple attacks together due to every attack having a delay in between the next attack. Almost every attack from 1st to 4th job has a delay. The only ones that don't are flash fist, sommersault, shockwave, and demolition (well demo is kind of borderline).

So wut is everyones chain of attacks?

For single targets I usually stun with backspin, followed by fist, double upper, fist, fist, and double upper again. When energy is charged up I replace that 1st and 2nd fist with energy blast (by far my favorite attack I have).

For mobs I usually come in with screw punch, energy blast, sommersault, backspin, energy blast again.

Hmm. When I go to Newties, I usually charge Screw Punch to start the attack, hitting the first two on the left on the middle platform, then I use Double Upper to stun the far left one, then I use Rapid Fists to lower the HP even more or possibly kill it. If it stays alive, I use Dragon Strike toward the right to finish it off and attack the rest of the Newties. Then I start on the next one. I use Double Upper or Back Elbow to stun, use Rapid Fists and Double Upper until it's finished off. Once that one is dead, I tap Screw Punch to go to the next Newtie, since it is farther away. Then I use Double Upper and Rapid Fists to finish it off, then while it's transforming, I attack the far right one until it's dead. O_O

In a flat map, like the bottom row at Skelegons, I usually use Back Elbow to stun the mob, then pick one out of the crowd and use Rapid Fists to either finish it off or I'll use Dragon Strike to attack the mob. If I have Energy Charge full, though, I will use Energy Blast to finish off the mob, since I can do well over 15k damage with it easily.

Other than that, I need to pay attention to my combos and try to get some to you guys. O_o -ponders-

Nope.

Dragon Strike doesn't have a delay. It only has a long animation.

Hey, did anyone notice that CSB is an advanced version of CB's assaulter?

Just press the charge button, walk around with it charging up and you can release it in-air, but now with a 200% range, instead of assaulter's 150% range! It's really nice to have this move! Smile

Anyway, best combo move for me now (lvl 54) is non-charged CSB, smack all monsters to 1 big pile and finish of with SS! Tongue

Best DPM as far as I can tell! Smile

I'd do that more, but my CSB is only lv 1 D: (maxing mastery atm)

Usually right now I just SS kick a mob and start using fists when there is only one or two enemies left.

Heh, unfortunately it doesn't. It doesn't really matter, though. Once you get it to a decent level, you'll be destroying mobs easily.

Oh well.

Even at lvl 5x you still put together screw punch, double upper, sommersault, fist, and backspin blow. You only get 1 decent attack in third job which can be substituted in a combo attack with fist or sommersault (for mobs) if your energy isn't charged up.

In fourth job, dragon strike replaces sommersault and flash fist with barrage. Although I'll probably still keep flash fist on my keyboard.

I see no point in doing all that when the monsters I train on die too quickly. Comboing is useless for me at the moment.

At Newties I use Backspin Blow, then Barrage and if the Newtie hasn't died yet I use Dragon Strike to finish it. Then I don't have to move again because Backspin Blow moves you to the next Newtie, Smile

Yeah. It's very easy to use only one hand at Newties. It's convenient, too. Lol.

I use barrage/double upper back and forth mostly at Bosses such as Zak and Pap.
