"Failed to execute the game. Please check the installation."

I tried to run the game as normally, through the GameLauncher, it downloaded a small patch, and then it brought up this error message, and now I cannot run the game at all.

I tried the manual patch to fix this, but it was stuck on "Creating: Base.wz" for an hour, I don't think it's doing anything.

Any other ideas of things I can do before I resort to reinstallation?

Try reinstalling sadly. Thats pretty much the only advisable thing at this point. Does it work if you launch from site or no?

Looks like something got corrupted in the files somehow. I'd try a clean install and try again. If that doesn't work, maybe tonight's patch will fix that. If not, I really can't think of anything off the top of my head.

Reformat is a good last option normally.

Welp, I've reinstalled and now it's working.

Wonder what happened though. Eh, whatever, I'll just keep the installer just in case it happens again.
