Jett's Link Skill (Or at least I think it is)

Players waiting for the upcoming release of MapleStory’s gun-wielding space bounty hunter, Jett, will enjoy the newest Renegades update teaser trailer released this weekend. For the very first time, players will get to see what Jett looks like and preview gameplay as the space bounty hunter in the third Jett trailer. Set to be exclusively introduced into the North American service of MapleStory on June 27, Jett is a powerful character looking to restore her reputation.

Jett finds herself in Maple World after she is forced to flee from her home planet of Cerberus. Jett’s reputation as a prestigious bounty hunter is tarnished when Burke, a jealous friend and bounty hunting partner, frames her for the murder of the king of Cerberus. While fleeing, her spaceship crashes in Maple World and when she regains consciousness, she finds that Burke has stolen her Core, the gem in which her power originates. Jett must find Burke to retrieve Core and restore her reputation.

Exclusive to the North American version of MapleStory, players looking to help Jett avenge herself will be able to explore Maple World and Jett’s new skills that make use of extraterrestrial technology. Jett’s special buff skill, “Core Aura,” can be shared with another character on the same account and in the same game world. The stats for Core Aura level up with Jett and the stats are variable, making this skill slightly different for each Jett character.

In addition to the new Jett character, the upcoming update will introduce a newly balanced Thief class. Thieves will now be stronger and faster than before, with improved skills for players to try. Additionally, a new feature being added with the update, the Part-Time Job, allows players to put characters to work even when they aren’t logged into them. Players can also travel to the future in the revamped Neo City area to receive new quests and receive new awards. Along with the Neo City revamp, there are several new and updated quests and party quests ready for exploration.

yup, it was capped at 8 each stat (STR,DEX,LUK,INT, W.att and M.att), and it randomized every 24 hours? or something like that.

The way its worded sounds as if it works the same way as a Reverse/Timeless weapon and its stats are variable for the level up, not every day. This way sounds way simpler and easier to implement than that of DragonWarrior and is much better. If it were like this and each lvl up strengthened the buff, it would easily encourage everyone to get a Jett to 200.

Sounds dangerous to me, especially if it's a daily randomising thing. Imagine yourself depending on those stats to wear e.g. Empress......

I read the statement as it was a different stat depending on your current character. Like Archers get dex, warriors str, etc. That would be pretty handy.

Agreed, and my god how many times have I watched your sig.

But Jett seems to be disliked already by half the forum communities wherever you go (though I know a clear majority of people in game will love it), so it seems funny how people act like the link skill being bad is the reason to now dislike the class. They pretty much hated it well before that (though I'm not signalling you out even though I quoted you lol). I still liked the class without even thinking about there even being a link skill, and I actually like the class more now because of the fact that the pirate revamp is confirmed to be coming soon so it seems a bit more fair lol.

My interest was zero when I immediately found out this was a re-skinned dragon warrior. Now this just makes me laugh
