Still hating the Mako-korra romance thing. It just doesn't feel like it fits in anywhere. PLUS Mako already HAS a girl and he's playing her like a douchebag would do in real life.
Would like to know why bloodbending is so OP though. I mean if it cuts all ties to bending, does that mean all water benders could potentially just end the entire nations? -_____-" at least the end of Amon/Tarlock was good.

Why is it so OP? Put two and two together. Why hasn't the Water Tribe taken over? Three issues with that: One, it's not in the nature of the Water Tribe and two the Water Tribe is more fragmented than, say, the Fire Nation, and three, #fullmoonproblemz

I don't like those super cliff hangers they throw at us just so we watch the next season but I dislike even more when they just tie all loose ends, same thing happen with CSI: NY that though I don't regulary see it seeing one of its seasons ending so neatly was like "WTH is that the end of the show?", really hope season 2 is in a few years that way the new treat just doesn't appear out of no where a la comic.

Also something confuses me, they speak of planes as if it was the first time they see them but Iroh learns how to fly them in a few minutes? Plus they know they use airfields and need runways to take-off, not to mention that these planes are a thing Sato came up recently but they had defense against other airplanes, so he foresaw them being stolen?

anyway, this will be an interesting wait. woohp.org have been posting andrea bakers/clovers tweets and its getting me pumped. i was pretty sad when disney asian premiered 'le film' marking the end of the series... lets hope they carry it for the next season.

"Tentatively titled Avatar: Legend of Korra, it was intended to be a twelve-episode[11] mini series set in the same fictional universe as the original show,[5] seventy years later"
It was also slotted to be released October 2011, but they moved it back to April 2012 to accommodate the second season of 12 episodes ordered. Also due to the fact that it was originially designed as a mini-series, you can see why the pacing is completely different than ATLA.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's around the same time in April or March (I forget which month it actually started) next year, and then ends with a 4 episode finale.

they'll probably give enough time to re-run the 1st season atleast thrice before airing a new season.... thats my best guess because this series dont take so long to finish.

I don't think it is hard to imagine that planes need some sort of runway to take off of. These people aren't stupid and considering Iroh is a General of an army, I feel like he is trained to evaluate situations. As for the device Sato made that was a defense against other planes, I did find that very bizarre. You would've thought that the Equalists would be cocky enough with all their security and power that they wouldn't need a backup system like that to take down a high jacked plane, but whatever.
