This, so much this.

Everyone was using Spoiler tags really well until the show ended, and then suddenly everyone went "Screw it!"

Am I the only one who actually liked that ending? It was fairly heavily foreshadowed that the end would have ***Hidden content cannot be quoted.***

I can accept the ending being totally rushed and gave us no elaboration on our unanswered questions.

But I don't like the forced romance ending with Mako and Korra being in love. I'm starting to hate Mako since he's been two-timing with Asami for the past 3 - 5 episodes.

That ending seemed kinda... bleh. There was no buildup to pretty much the biggest moment in the season.
No less than five minutes from losing her bending, without even trying to do her whole avatar past lives channelling deal, Aang steps in to fix everything.

I mean, I was fully prepared for the second season to be Korra trying to figure out the spiritual side to her Avatar job to talk to Aang and work out that whole energy bending trick, but sure, yeah, toss that in anywhere.

A bit curious where that leaves the second season, since pretty much all the loose ends are tied up.

Central plot line for Book 2 is as follows. Mako and Korra flaunt their new relationship in front of all of the other characters. Asami is heartbroken for a few episodes and then goes out with Bolin to make Mako jealous. Hilarity ensues. Who needs plot when you have teenage love polygons?

I have a feeling the general amon used is going to start it back up again, but with full force and just taking benders away.
I did kinda get mad that she got her bending back so fast, would of been amazing to see the spirit world now that aang is there. When I saw the air monk robe , I was like tenzin caught up to her really fast, then aang and i did a fan girl scream, Then not quite sure how mako got there so fast, since they didn't show any type of transportation lol.

Noatak and Tarlock's deaths aren't 100% confirmed though. At this point we can assume Korra will restore balance to Republic City. What would the story for book 2 be then? Azula's descendants?

Not to mention the whole problem of pacing and lack of character consistence/progression.

Yeah, I'm kinda disappointed.

I don't get it

Look at the air bender. I think he's got double(or even triple chins).

Overall, Korra was no where near as good as the first series for me. Maybe it was because of my age, but regardless, I wasn't very pleased. I feel like Amon being Tarlok's brother was just a very underwhelming plot twist, and the pacing for the battles was just horrible. Not to mention the fact that a second season was ordered, but there's absolutely no carry over from the first season. Seriously, are they going to pull some bull like there's another bad guy they spend 11 episodes failing at beating then in the final they win?

Maybe I can just blame good TV for spoiling me.

They still have another season to carry over stuff.

It was as good/bad as the first avatar's finale IMO. I mean they both contained the same amount of Deux Ex.
