actually what the pineapple I don't see a book 2. She just randomly got her powers back. What the flying pineapple is this.

Might not be a popular opinion, but I really dislike this ending. Not to mention, Amon's ability to take away bending was never explained.

Same, also nothing leading to a book 2. Why even call it "Book 1" if there's nothing leading to a 2nd one? I also dislike how it had random moments where pomegranate happens. "Oh you got no powers? Aang comes out of nowhere even though he's dead and gives you your powers back + more"


Edit: Also, if the Spirit of previous avatars can do stuff physically. Why did they not give him the ability to take away bending as he pleases just like they did korra? I mean he spoke to the past avatars like 86 times through the entire show but learns how to take away bending like 4 episodes before the ending.

They said it was a bloodbending ability.

Never stated how he learned it nor how it is linked to bloodbending.

My guess is that Aang might have been the first Avatar to actually learn energy bending. All the previous Avatars that he spoke to told him that he must kill Ozai.

Well even if he was, couldn't they TEACH him the elements also since they can do stuff physically? Seems like they pulled this ending out their ass to be honest.

Aang was the first avatar to energy bend which he was given that power by the ancient lion turtle. No previous avatar knew how to do this so they couldn't give him the ability to earlier in the series. My guess is Aang's spirit used its energy bending to restore Korra's bending and grant her the power to do the same for the rest of the benders who had their bending taken away.

The past avatars didn't teach him that technique anyway, it was the Lion Turtle island
And his appearance wasn't ridiculously random, anyway. As he said, when she "unlocked" her airbending, her spiritual side opened up. Hence his appearance.
