Could they be phasing out the Nx Credit/Prepaid system and going back to just one kind of Nx?

I got an invite, but it probably only gets offered to people who actually run up against the charge limit. Or who otherwise have used enough NX Credit and not had it get rejected for fraud and whatnot that Nexon decided they can be trusted.

No. Nexon doesn't let me charge credit at ALL (error code 51'd), and I got an invite. I think it's based purely off of how much NX you buy. Or have as of late.

OK, this is really good:

I did get the invitation, and accepted it.
Then I tried to charge NX with credit card.
Error 51.

Yay, I am a Golden snail.

Charged a fair bit over the years (4 year old account), never had any problems with it working (no error 51), but no invite.
I 'm guessing the reason is getting lag autobanned regularly, or else invites are just random like everything else Nexon does.

First rule about the Secret Order of the Golden Snails? Talk about Fight Club instead...

Apparently I can't charge NX now, even as a golden snail. UltimatePay is such a shitty service and I get declined all the damn time at random with them.

Too bad they already took out the only NX Prepaid item I wanted, the server transfer.

I'm sure there are plenty of other Prepaid-only items for me to buy!

Error 51 for the win.

I got it, I've been using it with no problem. I wonder if its the Credit Card though? I only charge with Paypal and it goes through without a hitch. Which methods are you all using?

That is how it was for me, until at some point they decided to just Error 51 me and be done with it.

It causes you to get an error message as soon as you choose to pay with either Credit Card or PayPal, before you even get the chance to input the card's details or get to the PayPal page. There is no way to undo it.
It has nothing to do with the Order of Golden Snails. We are just bitterly amused at Nexon inviting people to this Order of loyal and trustworthy customers, when they still have us blacklisted.

I was 51'd without ever having charged credit. Although the surveys may have done it.

How do you know if you were invited or not?
