Hope this satisfies Nexon's laser appetite for the next ten years.

Either way, compared to other maplestory videos, there are a lot more dislikes

Super disappointed.

I'm hating that it's just re-texturing of existing skills but I'm loving the art. Also glad that Jett is a woman since the current Maple Legends has 3.5 guys vs 1.5 girl.

Even though Jett is like a crockpot of all the pirates with a dash of Mercedes, it'll probably be really really fun to play as...

We'll see....

Release date is June 27th. LESS THAN 1 WEEK!

Not that disappointed since this was expected but I'm impressed by the skill animations & designs.

Jett's art concept seems much better & more thought out than the random Dragon Warrior's Panda + bamboo theme.

Jett can be Jett all it wants. I just want my pirate revamp.

ITT: Some stupid people complaining about others for saying there wont be a Pirate revamp even though there are like tons of evidence pointing out to that truth. Sure it's not announced and it could even come out later but: 1- Nexon hates pirates so chances are it wont, 2 -Why the pineapple do we gotta wait?. Just Imagine you were expecting the best upgrade to your character for half a year and then you find out you gotta start a new character to enjoy of it instead of doing so on that character you've worked hard on and love.

What was Nexon thinking releasing this class at the same time they release Phantom?. In a normal situation, it already would be hard to choose Jett over Phantom, let alone now that we know it's just a reskin of skills for other jobs. Heck even Luminous coming out in KMS can drag ppl away from Jett. At least CMS did it right with DW in this sense.

I still believe there's gonna be a Pirate/Thief Revamp mainly 'cause it's GMS we're talking about here. If GMS removes the revamp, how will they face their players? Future fan meetups would be awkward as hell..

Jett or Justice Patch isn't even here yet.. I'm assuming there are piles of complains via tickets & their forums already.

Understandable. Though I can't agree with you on what you assume is delayed. As much as we get a lot of content from KMS and even JMS, we have our own schedule set forth by our team and our developers.

But sorry to hear you aren't satisfied. Perhaps something in the upcoming Renegades update will please you.

I seem to remember how people complained about WH being a mash of XBM and BM... and now people are complaining about the same thing, except:
(1) this time it's the Bucc and the Corsairs (and a tiny bit of Merc)
(2) because of (1) there is a tendency to assume the mutual exclusiveness of Jett and the Pirate Revamp, which is not necessarily true (but is a fairly logical assumption)
(3) because CMS's Dragon Warrior mashes similar stuff together but reskins the skills, people say that Jett is a reskin of Dragon Warrior [which is only by sheer virtue of the fact that Dragon Warrior had more details released earlier] or vice versa [because Jett might have been kept under tight lips for longer]; but people fail to realise that Nexon has been very focused on the storyline aspect more than the skills.

ITT some people have overly-high, or even somewhat unrealistic, expectations of "exclusive content". I think GMS developers have done a fairly good job at introducing Bucc-type skills into a (laser) gun-wielding class. If you can't give us a new job with creative new/innovative skills [which I don't think Nexon would allow GMS to do actually...], then the next best thing is a refreshing remake of existing skills...

At least they picked the best skills of each of the classes Jett "pirated" from.

I'm already have a fungasm thinking of using Fusillade + Ishtar + Headshot + Laser Blast + Double Jump.

Thief and Pirate revamp will almost definitely release... it's just that it's not advertised. In KMS, the revamp was advertised as this huge thing; in GMS, we have Jett to advertise.

I'm going to predict that Pirate/Thief revamp, Jett, and Phantom will be released in the same patch only Phantom will be locked until midnight of its release AKA the same way they did it in KMS. Aswan will come in another patch some time later...
