Ticketing system no longer automated
#41
I was randomly banned in 2006 on my beta account and was told it was because of a billing issue. Now I'm being told it was because of scamming. E-mailed billingpp@nexon.net as per their direction and am getting two very different answers. It's been over 3 months since I submitted my ticket. Opened a new one and responded to my old one. No response and it's been a week. Still seems like it's hit or miss, to me.

Can't say I really care about the account. It's more of a principle thing for me since the gift charge from my friend I received was apparently returned back in 2006 (when you gifted NX charges instead of items). Would be very interested to see if this issue could be resolved under the new customer service leaf.

That guy scammed and resulted in the banning of a TON of high level characters back in the day, because he'd sell folks NX and then chargeback.

Damn and I thought I was the only one. Do you know if anyone has been able to reclaim their account?

Absolutely none of my friends were ever unbanned for it.

I think they called it "NX Fraud" if I believe. You'd receive the NX and use it, and then I believe the charge back would occur...but I don't think any of us ever received a notification that it was returned since we didn't charge the NX in the first place. I know they had a period where you could "admit your guilt" for a temporary ban but I didn't have a clue that my NX had been charged back until it was too late.

I heard last year that Nexon was allowing players to purchase a prepaid card and charge it to the account that was banned in full to make up for the returned charge and have your account reinstated. A few months ago my NX read -30,000 and then it was 0 and the reason for my ban was changed. It's definitely not worth the account at this point, but it's something that's always been a thorn in my side...if for nothing else but nostalgia's sake.

That whole "admit your guilt" thing was just a ploy by nexon to more easily sift through the accounts of those who were gifted NX. They still banned the accounts permanently.

Wow. I did not know that. I'm shocked.

I believe all billingpp emails stopped being answered 3 months after the big cake vs pie fiasco that took place pre-chaos.
Sorry to hear some of your tickets aren't getting answers, but make sure you try and bump them mid day or open new tickets refering to older ones.

You need to close the older ones or they ignore the new ones.

Sephie Wrote:I'm sorry to inform you that your appeal to have your ban lifted has been denied.

However there is a possibility you can have your account reinstated if you clear up the disputed charges. To find out more please contact our Billing Department at the following email address: billingpp@nexon.net.

Be sure that when you send this email, you include both your Account ID and any PayPal Transaction ID's you may have related to the affected account. To retrieve your Transaction ID numbers, please log into the PayPal account from which you made the purchases. Go to the history of that account and click on the purchases you made for NX with Nexon America. There will be a Transaction ID located here.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Sincerely,

GM Diatia

My concern is some people who closed older tickets didn't get a response at all. That was after being hacked though, but it's still a concern.

Savage; Do not lose hope!

I've been wrongfully billingpp'd and got declined several months back. However, recently I resubmitted a ticket and they cleared my account for reinstatement.

I don't know if I'm one of the lucky ones but when you get BillingPP'd, you normally don't get a second chance. Submit a ticket on a different account and explain your situation (be sure to include the ID of the blocked account).

Would Nexon ban my current account for having multiple accounts? Last I checked that was against the ToS so would using my new account and starting a ticket about a blocked one result in my account getting banned? God knows I've purchased enough NX cash since I made this account in 2006 so they should know I'm a loyal customer.

That's been gone from the TOS for more than 3 years now.

Nothing short of an unedited Cash Shop window screen shot would be proving that one to anyone.

He says he's already spent it, so the next best thing would be to ask to see his ticket.

Which might be kind of weird...but I'll try.
