There's no bonus in Canada Sad

Dratini is in the case but I won't share it until they're verified to be reusable (or as soon as I put my code in, which may not be for a while since the password part is blanked out)

So far I am pretty unhappy with this game. It is really unfocused and I don't feel like I'm ever really doing anything worthwhile. The battles are boring as pineapple and having only one move per pokemon seems like a huge chance missed. Also having each pokemon attached to a specific trainer and only being able to move in groups of six is really annoying. I feel like it would've been better if it were more like any other SRPG where you could choose 6 pokemon from all that you've linked with so far at the beginning of battle (and been able to pineappleing place them yourself)

I thought that you could do that, just that you have to move them from their castles to the one your squad was in? Then again im probably wrong because i haven't played the game yet. Just watched a few videos so far.

Yea, the one move per pokemon is kind of lame. Lots of lost potential there imo. But at the same time, it makes me think of this as a different kind of game. When I see Tepig or Charmander, I think of an archer, since it's range is only two spaces ahead no more no less. It has lost something that could make the pokemon aspect of it better, but I still think that having one move per pokemon gives another distinct feel to it.

Nope, you can only have 6 people occupying a space at one time. Before battle you have to shift parties around (ugghhhh) and it's a fucking pain in the ass. All other SRPGs have a screen at the beginning where you choose who you want to use in that battle. It's easy and preferable.

Didn't they do that so you can have people to defend? I've never actually been attacked yet, but you can get attacked right? And I'm guessing if you lose they take your area. That would be pretty awesome.

Yes. If you leave an area unguarded they will conquer it but it's not as exciting or even interesting as it sounds.

All of that said, I don't completely hate the game. I've just played too many SRPGs with better execution so I'm a bit jaded. I kind of like trying to find the perfect link pokemon for each trainer.

So is it worth getting? I've read a lot of reviews similar to this and it feels like it isn't

If you like Pokemon, like SRPGs and just need something portable to play: yes.

If you want something to sink your teeth into: no.

It has really beautiful art, too.

"It's a good morning, today! I think I'll call up Game Stop to see if they have it in stock now!"

For convenience's sake, italics is the store.

>'Sup, was wondering if you guys finally got Pokemon Conquest in stock today.
>Pokemon Conquest? We actually only had enough for in-store reserves and we won't be getting the in-store sale shipment until the 25th, sorry about that.
>...is cool, no problem, that's alright, later dude.

Meanwhile in the physical world...

It has nothing to do with speed. Warlord's require a specific action but I haven't figured out exactly what it is yet. I BELIEVE you have to defeat their pokemon with your Hero.

I swear you just have to beat them in under 4 turns or something. But they said some warlords are different right? Next time I see her I'll try to defeat her with my hero. Anyways, some annoyances I feel like saying. The fact that you have to prepare everything before battle is really annoying, I think Sarah said that already. Even the pokemon you want to use you have to change too.

This one has nothing to do with gameplay, but I hate that some warlords look the same as others. It's okay that they do that for people you battle against, but what's the fun in having 200 warlords with like half of them being copies?

Conditions for regular Warriors are any of the following:
Defeat in 4 turns (10 round match = they must be defeated by the end of round 7)
Defeat with a "super effective" attack
Win without any of your pokemon getting hit (never, ever have I had this happen)

Conditions for Warlords:
?????????????????

Warlords are the ex-leaders of the towns. They also appear as yellow bodies on the maps before battles instead of the regular grey one, which is how Warriors appear.

I've recruited a bunch of warlords, they pop up in the caves and such, if you hover over a kingdom and you see a gold mark one of them is there. Every time where i defeated the warlords pokemon and in under 4 turns they've joined me.
Also, just finished the main story =D
