Diablo3 class thread

my dps is lame, im not focusing in gear now in my barb, being merching a while and doing some farming in the spare time.

I don't see why anyone would play Diablo like it's maplestory. The easiest way to "merch" is to go to act 3, and wipe out every elite you see. You'll get good drops, trust me on that. With your elite funds there's nothing standing in your way, especially as a Barb you'll have very few problems clearing it out. I'm sure you know how to play the Barb well enough and are stacking armor and resists to get the job done. Right?

I can see Demon Hunters will enjoy this patch. Time to find a new spender.

Farming those acts gave me some gold, but my main gold comes from flipping prices in AH and RMAH. Once i reach 500m or a lil less ima build up my barb.

This. I kind of feel like he's trying to Maplestory his way through Diablo. And I honestly don't see the change in Act 3&4 for a Barb back then and now unless you were playing in Multiplayer. It would be easier back then pre-skill nerfs in solo like it was for every class.

Dang boyo, this isn't Maplestory here. You can pretty much farm for that gear once you have a 60 capable of wiping Inferno. No need to stockpile so much gold that's not going to be going anywhere.

Hell you only need a few million to be MORE than capable of finishing off Inferno. 500mil is like...I dunno...

of course you dont need 500m, i got all my current gear for like 1-2m... and can clear pretty much evrything (except some crazy ass elite/champ packs), but i want a godlike barb ready for PvP and future expansions.

Sooo, I'm level 45 in Nightmare on a Wizard, and don't know anything about a "build" for this class.
Besides the fact that intelligence raises damage and vitality raises total HP...haha.
Any tips on what to do?

Which you don't need 500mil for. You're still putting too much thought into it.

There's a Barb on Twitch.TV that has like 300-400k DPS and I'm pretty damn sure he didn't need 500mil gold to get there.

I hope you know that if PvP is all about character strategy. If you played D2 and have adjusted to D3, then you should know what I'm talking about. Those "35m" you made from Natalya's Shadow are more than enough to fund your Barb. Honestly, post some SS of you making this money.

lol i do take it easy, i barely farm for gear since i dont have much time lately, on finals in med school, so is more time efficient to just merch in AH/RMAH and make some millions.

Btw just upgrade my 1h wep, high LoH is the way to go lol i just stand in ANY pack and tank all.

They won't nerf LoH. The Reddit AMAA said that if LS goes the point where no one is basically using it, then they'll buff the pomegranate out of it lol.

If they buff Life Steal to be more useful than LoH it's about the same as nerfing LoH.

I dunno what this patch did, but the game's MUCH faster for me(on low settings, like before), but the FPS rate is 0 no matter what.

Repair costs are killing my gold, I guess I should play the AH a bit(not 500m gold craziness, but a bit to get gold for repairs).

The funny thing is one of the Blues in the AMAA said LS is already 3x more powerful than LoH, but the reason why it's so bad is cause the two difficulties it matters on (Hell and Inferno) nerf the effectiveness of LS to the ground, while LoH is unaffected.

Really they won't do anything to LS until it becomes less and less used, while LoH becomes more and more popular.

EDIT: Tried out A2 Inferno real quick and the mobs are doing 50% of their damage now. They go from doing 3k+ to me to 1.5k+.
