People being hacked since the last Server Check.

I would guess 99%+ of all accounts don't use emails - after all, it's generally longer to type, and you have to go to the trouble of setting it up. Only the group that was forced to would have them for the most part.

Several months ago at the minimum; when I tried to make a mule some time like september or october, this was the case.

Logged in today to find out I have been hacked for a second time. It happened almost 6 months to the day from when I was first hacked. It somehow doesn't surprise me that I was hacked again before Nexon even did anything about my first ticket. Lost all of my mesos and all of my tradeable gear on my main. They also threw away my horntail necklace, scar helm, and spear.

I hear some people who still have loads of duped items have recently been hacked, one in particular, wtfsimon, supposedly lost all of his mules.

You sure it's hackers and not Nexon cleaning them out?

Massive hacking spree's been going on in Chaos the past few days; sometimes the hackers don't take anything and use the accounts to spam a certain "free NX" website, other times the hackers take a few valuables.

Why would anyone go to an uknown website run by clearly malicious people?

You don't have to go to it on a computer. You could just as easily type the URL into your ipod or phone and check it out.

Curiosity. Obviously they're doing it for money, but how big is the entire thing? How much merchandise have they hacked off of players? Then again, maybe I'm the only one wondering that.

Yeah, Nexon just cleaning them out would be more work for them than to just ban/billingPP the accounts

I know I'm necroing hard, but I didn't feel that a new thread was appropriate considering we have a 60 page one on it already.
Has anyone noticed an increase in the hacking case recently?
I thought it had died down, but in the last week, a rumor started going around in windia that the top dojoers were being targetted, and then two of the usual top 5 got hacked this week(both max damage mercs).
Its making me wonder if I'm next, or anyone else I know.
Every time I log in I feel relieved just to see my character still there.
Just wondering if anyone has something similar in their servers?
Also, both of these hackings were attributed to (not sure if I'm allowed to talk about him on this site o.o), the one hacker who's worshipped by all the basillers and has been known to take pictures saying he owns on the accounts he hacks. Such pictures were found for both of the hacked accounts.

Via skype if possible if he can see your ip address, I assume. My friend got hacked like 2 weeks ago they took his items but didn't delete his characters, but the letters Ecko were left in his setup. I stop playing after that and made my best friend change my password till I feel it's safe.
