OnTopic: Went to watch my father's retirement ceremony from the university. Not that he's actually retiring. Just getting "Emeritus" added to the nameplate on his office door.
Was heartwarming to see that his colleagues hold him in very high regard.

Met the other fashion director at InStyle who, oh yeah, is my mentor for the intern mentor program for the summer. I'm dying because my end-career goal title is fashion director, and thus ever since I found out I landed the internship I've been hoping for a tiny moment to talk with him about his career and experiences. Now I have a formal reason to talk to him whenever I want.

And then I remember I have to go back to school for one last year. Ugh. I mean, I'm excited for my senior year, and I'm living with my best friend at school, so it will be amazing, but I just want to stay here indefinitely.

Holy pineapple everything has been shitty the past few days.

This week marks one full month I've been at my internship (working on an active congressional campaign, in case anyone is wondering). Enjoying every minute of it too.

First day of strictly floral training, worked 10-3. Would have been a whole bunch better if I didn't have to be back up cashier, fucking tired of slow ass main cashiers calling me up every 10 minutes.

On another note, I have no idea why this pomegranate sells I think it's so fucking over the top but hey it sells.

Watching the rainbows dance in and out of the sprinklers in the backyard. Cold drink and a cool breeze, feels good to be home.

finally taking my last final for a quarter I hated would be much more exciting if I still didn't have to wait for grades :l

Watched a good part of True Blood season 4 for the second time this week. lol. Kinda nervous about tomorrow though.

Went to Six Flags Great America yesterday and the new ride X Flight is now my favorite ride. Was also surprised at how fast the line moved.
Today I was still kind of exhausted from that trip.

All I do is work then come home hello I am really bored and understimulated!!!

My first big boy job.

But I'm pretty much out of money and now I've got this 13 month apartment lease.
