The test is not hypocritical. To see things in "black and white terms" means that you see all choices as either/or with nary a gray area between. You're either pro-abortion or anti-abortion. You either love God or hate him. You love me or don't love me. There's never a middle ground, and never room to compromise.

It's difficult for a computer to approximate gray areas, and to expect it to do that seems a tad irrational. "Maybe" represents no binary state.
