MapleStory Renegades - Coming this Summer

Classes don't keep people interested, new activities do. It just so happens that new classes give people another way to experience the game, but in the end, you're still going to be doing the same things - just with a different character. New places to explore, new PQs, et al are much more preferable IMO to *another* new class.

You're so, so wrong. Majority of people I know in RL ( that do not play anymore ) only came back for the new classes. I'll only come back to try new classes, I couldn't care less about these "activities".

Well if the new things were ever something besides "spot you can't grind in with no real quests" or "boss you don't have enough nx to fight anyway", I'd prefer content.
As it is I don't really play this game except when new classes roll out.

The thing is, at their current state today, I see them as competent.
Answering tickets in a few hours, patching bugs(kind of), trying to fix the duping, it seems like they're making an effort for sure.
I'm not denying how incompetent they have been in the past, not am I saying that they are the best company ever.

That's subjective. There are plenty of people that feel Nexon should still be doing more. Note how I said "can be deemed" instead of "is."

In your camera analogy, the problems are fixed to the point where it doesn't "suck" anymore, yet it's still not close to being the best camera it can be, as it still has problems.

You specifically mention that they don't play anymore. I wonder why they all keep quitting. Perhaps it's the lack of things to do?

Supply will also rise. What I mean here is it wont be hard to get guns to hold you over before end game. I have a VL Gun right now that suits me well but I see your point. I think I used a Maple gun until like 16x or so. But, that's just me.

How does that change the supply?

Supply won't change - but the availability of the supply will (if the GMS economy works like the JMS economy). People have these items, but they don't sell them because they think they're worthless, so they keep them in storage / on storage mules. If it suddenly becomes a wanted item, they have items they can sell for cash, thus they will start pumping them into the market.

Unless there is an event that infuses more guns into the game at a higher rate then they are right now supply won't change at all.

As far as end game is concerned the traditional "make it yourself use it yourself" mentality is still there for 95% of players.

I was thinking of a knuckle with a trigger. Kinda a combination Gun/Knuckle. Which further reinforces the idea that Jett will be a reskinned Dragon Warrior, who uses combo Brawler/Gunslinger moves.

Personally i think Jett seems really exciting. It's different. And even if Jett IS just like Dragon Warrior using post-revamp pirate skills, it will still be more exciting than just a revamped job.
Not to mention the fact that Jett probably has new equipment and a new Link Skill (if Dragon Warrior is anything to go by) which is something the revamped Pirates/Thieves did not get.

Also, YES! I'm really excited for Jett because, for once, this may actually seem really worthwhile. The weapon that looks like this laser cannon thingy (I wouldn't be surprised if it actually is...the whole space theme thing..), the teaser website, the name itself (Jett is a pretty bad ass name imo) and the overall approach seems a LOT more better than past approaches to add exclusive content to the game. Ughgugh, watch Jett magically appear in other Maple versions...no just kidding; I hope not.
