of all the quests nexon could have unlocked, they choose to unlock the most dreaded and boring of all of them?

It might be a not-so-subtle "You guys sure everything was better pre-bb?"

With me, at least, it backfired.
I remember the cursed doll quest.
I remember doing it with the help of a Hunter friend, who trained there for a long time. That old Monkey Forest II map was perfect for him, he could stand on a safe platform and use Arrow Bomb to hit two or three platforms at a time. The new Zombie Lupin map has no rhyme or reason, just randomly placed platforms and spawn points, and nobody ever goes there.
My friend used to collect the dolls and sell them in MTS. Yeah, back then people would pay NX to complete quests. Can you believe that? Annoying quests that didn't give an overpowered equip (or the right to enter a coveted training spot) as reward. People still wanted to complete them, and were willing to pay real-world money for the quest items if they were too lazy to collect them themselves.
And then Nexon raised the MTS tax... and people decided that to hell with quests, we'll just grind.
Tell me, Nexon, how many new characters since Big Bang have done the Cursed Dolls quest, even after you made it so much easier (50, 70, 100, 150, 200)?

So yeah, even this dreaded and boring quest raises my nostalgia level.

Seems like everyone's speculating about the class, so I just thought I'd share.

Tell me, Nexon, how many new characters since Big Bang have done the Cursed Dolls quest, even after you made it so much easier (50, 70, 100, 150, 200)?

Nexon had the perfect opportunity to make quests mean something, but they half-assed it.
Were I in charge every quest would give some personality experience that wouldn't count towards the daily limit.

570 dolls for some experience and a dinky hat? Nty.

yes, but he can't even use this argument because phantom has already been released in korea (and iirc, japan), only way to make phantom exclusive was travel back in time (well... we know nexon likes time-traveling though )

'm just gonna do Maya's chain and mindlessly loop the repeatable quest for coins. Nexon is so stupid making each of the quest only count for 1 coin -_____- If you wanted people to be excited for the old stuff, at least make the quests somewhat tolerable. Or find something else to do in here.

Yeah, I logged in and realized this patch is complete garbage. After the Legend patch, I haven't seen anything that has made me want to log in.
