And there lies the difference, none of my current items were bought in the AH and I can't farm higher difficulties to give items to my Wizard. It still has many level 30 stuff on him :/

My DPS would double with a weapon like yours, and if I used glass cannon and the familiar that's another 15% and 12%.

So finally hit 60. God damn, Nephalem's Valor is awesome. I'm taking a break from finishing hell to screw around with it xD

Recently started using a shield too, maybe I'm gearing/skilling for defense a bit early but whatever.

I normally have Frost Nova and Blizzard for the freeze, but Disintegrate Chaos Nexus usually kills everything even in a 2-man game before it can hurt me. I had those two on because I was clearing some Act 2 for some achievements. I have more than enough HP, and I'm using Glass Cannon. When I use Hydra for DPS, it's Venom, but a different kind would be better if I'm kiting since I can't guarantee Blizzard's freeze. I'm really disappointed in the DPS Blizzard does. It was by far the strongest Sorcerer spell in D2, though at least it has reliable hits here.

In D2, Blizzard was the strongest, really? I always see my cousin use Frozen Orb as the go-to Ice Sorc spell to shred enemies up. He did try a Blizzard Sorc, but Frozen Orb always seemed to kill stuff far better. Maybe he just didn't have enough Blizzard synergy or +Blizzard items/charms?

Auction House has drained pretty much all of my gold now. I only have 80k left but I'm surviving quite a lot better. Can't kill the Butcher on Inferno before he sets the entire floor on fire though, I get him to about 20% but then I can't stand in the fire to kill him. Almost at 50% to all resistances and at about 62% damage reduction with armour. DPS is about 9.5k... Monks are hard. If anyone would be able to help me kill the Butcher on Inferno at some point I'd appreciate it. xD

Edit: huzza, switched all my skills out to offensive alternatives and managed to kill him. Just. Guess I'll be farming from now on, since A2 is pretty much impossible for me currently. If anyone needs help for anything I'll probably be able to help if I'm online, I'll put my battle tag in my signature. ^^

1.0.3 looks to be an awesome patch.

Not really surprised, the Dev Blog said 1.0.3 would be the first MAJOR game change / balance patch.
I just hope they don't screw the classes too bad.

Got some new weapons and picked up quite some nice gear in Whimsyshire aka Killer Unicorn Land. That's without Sharpshooter, which is such a horrible passive skill; don't use it.

For Demon Hunters, I had an idea of Displacement runed Smokescreen as a permanent slot to have for Inferno. Yay the speed boost is worth it now that Smokescreen's duration got nerfed, or nay Lingering Fog rune is still best?

I LOVE Neph Valor. Finding 1~2 rares from elites/champs much more often now, though it's usually still NPC food. I offer things I find with main stat and vit to friends(free obviously). No decent weapons yet though, aside from a few blues.
Hell difficulty is lol easy now, still the occasional death because of plague or desecrator.

Playing a barbarian on co-op. It's really fun being able to take on most mobs head on after my experience as a wizard. We are still on Act 2 nightmare, but it's fun seeing the glass cannon DH run in front of me just to get killed.

I believe the current gear (literally everything minus weapon) cost less than 100k to put together, but the weapon was self found which is the biggest thing. It's 224DPS 127INT with 114 Life on Hit at 46, requirement -8. Similar ones on the market at that level seem to be around ~50k, though you can get close to 300DPS if you go up to 100k, but none have nowhere near as much INT as mine does.

Managed to bring it up to 9600 with another ~10k and added some more delicious gold find. I think I'm around 60% with this now.

Tried playing around with Blizzard for a while, but the low damage it has just doesn't cut it. Reverted back to my Arcane Orb build.

That's the same build I use, except swap electrocute for magic missile(seeker). What level are you? I may have a weapon rotting away in storage that'll easily beat that sword, that you can have when I wake up.

Edit; Derp, looked at your templar's level, so you'd be 50/51? I can give you my level 51 wand, I think it'd beat the sword still.

I really hate when I lose out on a really good item from the AH due to lag / timeout
Found some Barb pants that had +Armor, +Res All, +STR + VIT, and had a Socket, but I lost it due to a timeout error...zzz
