I've always wondered why do all Wizards have Magic Weapon. Does it actually increase your magic damage as well??

I had to forego using magic weapon or glass cannon. I can't afford the lack of defense for a little more offense.

@illegallysane: squares and flawless squares are plentiful drops when you get to inferno. I could hand out a bunch of them too if you wanted. Ive got a stack of 30 squares of each kind now.

I never paid attention to either, just the fact my dps stat increased when I used it. Tooltip says 10% anyway. I go with the blood rune, cause gaining life is nice.

Why are there 2 Zolton Kulles following you?

Just beat the butcher on inferno... act 2 is BALLS hard. Every single white enemy one shots me. Guess I'll have to farm act 1 or farm gold to get better gear. I think I have enough DPS, I just need more damage mitigation. A lot more.

dunno if youre referring to massive dupes fucking w/ the d2 economy just like they have in maple, uniques being statted well enough to last into end game and always coming with certain stats, or something else

I was mostly talking about how less "RNG fest" the stats were in D2. Like finding Spellcaster equips usually always had INT and other useful stats. Not like D3's current RNGfest where Wizard equips can have any stat.

I feel.. unclean some how. I bought a 500 dps weapon, because the one I had/was finding couldn't get my past my current area in hell. Now that I broke my pact of not using the auction house until level 60, I feel kinda bad. I was level 59 too, WHY DID I DO IT, DAMMIT.

Oh don't worry. You pretty much held off far better than most people. Plus, you're probably going to be scanning the AH constantly the moment you enter Inferno.

Im trying to fight normal mode Belial with my Monk, And when i get him down to about 1/4th health and he does that whole-map green explosion thing and I CANNOT AVOID IT TO SAVE MY FUCKING LIFE. IT ALWAYS KILLS ME.

I think you just need some more VIT gear to survive the attack. Farm the previous area boss and see if you can't gear up a little better. Otherwise, I can't remember if there's a safe spot for the explosion.

You mean where the spots follow you? Just run around the map, on the edge closer to the camera.

Hmm... I just cleared Belial twice (2nd time for some loot) in about 5 minutes with my normal Monk... and I was thinking that Monk makes Belial a joke... But then again I have 1.1k hp at level 24...

That weapon did help alot, but even without it, I'll still live happily ever after. If I just keep using Spirit, then I keep healing, and sufficiently fast too.

I've yet to reach Hell difficulty, but currently on Nightmare I'm almost considering dropping one of my defensive skills in favor of more offense. Pomegranate can barely damage me enough to beat my 120hp/s, I often find myself just standing face to face with an elite pack or champ and just spamming electrocute on their faces. Ice Armors +45% armor and freezing of attackers coupled with a quite high physical resist and the -20% melee damage from Blur gets me to about 70% damage reduction in total. I'm not even using a shield O.o

I do, But Whenever i try to run he poofs some in front of me and I get trapped and die. :C
