Seems like right now it's just incredibly laggy, I still managed to put an item for sale.

I tried Demon Hunter for ~2 hours last night. Initial impressions: Got DANG this class is EZ-MODO compared to Barbarian or Monk. Just spam enemy seeking arrows and everything dies! I really wish Rapid Fire can still be viable in Inferno. It's just fun spewing arrows like a machine gun.

Finished normal on my wizard. Dang the story is so awesome!
I also took very long to notice that a 1H dagger was already better than the wand I had been using.

My set:
Electrocute (chain lightning) or Magic Missile (+dmg)
Arcane Orb (+dmg)
Teleport (safe path)
Hydra (arcane hydra)
Diamond Armor (more dmg absorbed)
Magic Weapon (lightning weapon)

Passives:
+20 arcane, +2 arcane recovery
Prodigy (+4 AP per signature spell cast)
Blur (-20% melee dmg)

I'll probably be shifting to even more Magic Missile now that I'm in Nightmare. I'll be kiting more and singling out monsters instead of taking on whole mobs at once.

I still use rapid fire in inferno and get by just fine. o_O

Them min-maxers say otherwise, not to mention standing still for too long in Inferno leads to terrible things from what I read.

Just wait until Act 2, son.

First legendary get

 Spoiler

Looks to be a decent amount of gold in the AH(well, a great amount to my poor ass).

Legendaries aren't worth much, because of how under stat they are and how flooded the market is with them.

Oh, got my first legendary today too. At level 41. But I currently have no use for it seeing as it's a monk weapon knuckle thingy. I can post up a screenshot later if anyone's interested.

Just clear act 1 inferno Big Grin. promptly got 1 shot by bees in act 2 lol.

Found and sold a ring for 2m yesterday and finally got the gold today and bought a 936 dps crossbow to bring my damage to 55k with sharpshooter.

A1 Inferno is easy, son. A2 and beyond is where the REAL challenge awaits.

That legendary sword... I LOL-ed hard at the Hatred regen.

At least my Starfire rolled +health after each hit, which wasn't so bad.

It's supposed to have it, for odd built DHs I'm guessing.

Finally started playing Big Grin

The games fun so far, i love how much you absolutely slaughter at low levels (though i'm guessing that changes, fast)
Started out playing a Witch Doctor, i was going to play as a monk but my brother said i should play a ranged class because Melee classes start to suck hard later on. The soul drain ability is so ridiculously OP. Increases my Intellect by like 5 times D:

Give me a few million gold and we'll see Tongue
I have 56k HP, but I only have 60 or less resist to everything, so my "Effective HP" isn't all that high.
Problem is all the decent "Resist All" gear is 200-300k+ a piece and I don't exactly have a lot of money on me.

EDIT: Dev Blog is up
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/6018173
They talk about Inferno and the "Damage Spiking". It seems like 1.0.3 will slightly nerf the damage output of Inferno Mobs.

The one thing that caught my interest was the statistics
Quote:Before we get to that, though, we thought it'd be fun to share a few interesting stats we've collected since Diablo III's release:
  • On average players have created 3 characters each
  • 80% of characters are between levels 1 and 30
  • 1.9% of characters have unlocked Inferno difficulty
  • 54% of Hardcore players chose a female character
  • The majority of Hardcore deaths (35%) occur in Act I Normal
  • The most common level 60 build in the game is only used by 0.7% of level 60 characters of that class (not including Passive diversity)
  • The most used runes for each class at level 60 are Barbarian: Best Served Cold, Demon Hunter: Lingering Fog, Wizard: Mirror Skin, Monk: Peaceful Repose, Witch Doctor: Numbing Dart

Ran into my first elite with invulnerable minions in Hell difficulty, a f'ucking burrowing leaper or whatever. It had Nightmarish and something else that irritated me, frozen or something.
I hate soloing, L>people to help me through the first few acts.

If someone else brings you up to a later act that you haven't gotten to on your own, can you change to/from the quest from said act solo? Why I ask: The quest I farm for EXP/gold is the first quest of Act 4(as seen above @ legendary find), the EXP's gotten slow on Nightmare, so I wanted to farm it on Hell to get to 60. If you can do that, would anyone like to drag me along to get that quest? Big Grin

From what a friend of mine said, playing it with more people is actually harder than playing through the acts alone unless your friend is really way stronger than you are.
