Dinner with friends tonight! Chicken and rice bowls (but of course, the rice turned out pomegranatety) with Roasted Asparagus.

Tomorrow for breakfast, the menu includes waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, and drink of your choice. I wanted to make homemade cinnamon rolls, but I shouldn't be spending the extra money on all of the ingredients :/ Store-bought poopy ones will have to do.

1st (actual) day of Summer Vacation...and I just spent it playing Gran Turmiso 4.
Also booked my my plane ticket for this convention I'm heading to in Seattle in a few months. I wanted to go to E3 though...Oh well.

In a slump all day long.

Went to a cotillion. Dance floor was about 10ftx10ft. Not fun.

Finished my first week interning at a candidate's congressional campaign. Incredibly fast paced, and learned quite a bit about stuff relating to campaigning for political office.

Though working additional hours via weekend campaign events can sometimes make me a sad panda. Simply because I work 7-8 hours, Monday to Friday. And on top of that, I'm pretty much sacrificing my rest days to contribute more. But if I were to work in another campaign in the future, the possibility of working overtime will definitely be there. I can at least say I'll be well prepared by then.

Overall, though, this internship is well worth it.
