Played a game as Lux. Got fed a little by Annie in mid.

Game was pretty much 1 kill per team, pretty even.

They pushed us a lot and got rid of our 3 outer turrets and a couple of inner.

I noticed they were heading to Baron. Got my team to follow. They got Baron. We killed them all.

We pushed and won.

Feels good man.

This happened to me once before except the bot penta killed me + 4 bots ._.

Too bad Fortify was removed way back.

Though I have to admit, those troll comps are funny at times xD. I remember the all-tank + Heal/Fortify team composition that I went up against once way back (similar to the comp shown in the screenshot). If your all-tank team were able to hold out long enough, it was basically "tank all day, never let turrets die, never let yourself die, huehuehuehue".

Tried out Athene's Unholy Grail with Anivia. With double Doran's and Chalice, I was near able to farm the lane indefinitely.

But then the Morgana I was going up against d/c'd or something, and it went downhill for them from that point.

loving swain with the new grail. With the nerfs blue got it was pretty difficult to compete with other APs but now I can keep my ult up a much longer while in fights. Funny watching 3 people stand around you during zhonyas while my birds heal me to full and chunk them over and over.

Chalice is an item of self-reliant mana regeneration and laning longevity. It almost seems to me that it might not be as good as it seems though, since this item was apparently designed to give you a helping hand if you're losing. It does do that to an extent. But it's also a jack-of-all-trades sort of item for caster champions, and we know how that goes *cough*Nidalee*cough*.

I'd do have to admit though, it does show good promise after seeing today's performance, aside from the fact that I get vulnerable to ganks. (Alistar coming from behind? Kill Morgana.) In terms of numbers...

  If you're ganking a lane, mana regeneration would give you approximately 330 mana by the time you reach a side lane.

  This is only enough for three to four spells in general.
Using Excel with the standard base case:
  After 30 waves, lowest mana point is stable at approximately 27.9 mana.  Indefinitely sustainable.
  If you're ganking a lane, mana regeneration would give you approximately 270 mana by the time you reach a side lane.

  This is only enough for two to three spells in general.
Using Excel with the absolute worst case:
  After 5 waves, you'd OOM.  Ouch.  Better resort to using Flash Frost and auto-attacking to hold the minions at bay.

Damn that looks pretty decent actually xD In fact, it's BETTER than blue buff if you ignore CDR in this case! I think the main problem with this analysis is getting the gold for those items by level 6, but it's generally only going to get slightly better as you level up anyways. Well, maybe not for Anivia, since her skill costs go up by 20 everytime she skills up.

Nice. I get to 150 normal wins (cool) and then have 3 miserable games in a row - very likely the last ones I'll get to play before my ship leaves. I just wanted one more good game before then, but nope. The last one was particularly painful - enemy team had no jungler, Lee Sin and I were destroying top lane (I ganked three times, first was a double kill, second a kill, third a kill) but Kog'Maw was useless and we fell apart in team fights. Everyone would kindof mill about near the enemy tower forever, then run away when they got below 1/3 health instead of staying to fight it out. This kind of scattering effect cost us the early fights, which gave the enemy the momentum to snowball the later fights. Bad focusing, Lee kicking Katarina to safety, etc.

I almost got a penta in Ranked today, Teemo was laughing at me when he said I couldn't find him and my time for penta let up. I dropped his ass with my Ultimate. Then I continued to faceroll his team. Feltgoodman.jpg
