Guys you forgot that everything else is still screwed up in the game. And I agree with JPTheMonkey. This will actually have many negative effects on small servers, including Yellonde. But then again, if they didn't update the itemlist for the damn system for nice 3 or 4 years, then it's just better without it.

so maybe world merge will finally come?
I think that will be the only method to save some worlds....

Everyone is aware of that, they haven't forgotten anything. It's called progress. It will be interesting to see what other things they do in the next 8 weeks.

Yea, if they combine this with further actions it is not half bad. Closing off MTS and taking out world transfers and name changes would make searching and destroying a great deal easier.

That's what I'm assuming they are going to do. However I'm not expecting it, just simply..through common sense, assumed this was their intention.

Yea, that is the problem is it not? The logical next step is not something one can count on when it comes to Nexon. Fixing Stirge Chair to be MTS:able and then proclaiming the death of MTS before the fix is even implemented.
I have started viewing Nexon as the hydra. One head aint got a clue what the others are doing. At all.

When selfish little pricks on basil (and selfish pricks on SP too, we all know who) whine about it being removed, it's obviously for the better.

Funny thing is, the nx demand doesn't change, the game's damage is very dependent on NX, so they better be lowering the prices on all their NX gear otherwise, it's not going to work in their favor.

I think name changes and world transfers are for the reason that the system isn't as dynamic as they hoped. Those will possibly return eventually.

They also announced that they were fixing the spawn in the various miniboss maps. That... didn't quite happen.

Aka, automatic. Only reason i could see them bringing them back is if they figured that out so they wouldn't have to waste however much time it is they spend per dedicated SC to perform it, but being automatic is really hard to pull off.

How cute. Game won't return to where it was prior to MTS for a year or so.

My main issue is the way items, scrolls, and gear evolved. I suppose I've outgrown the direction of the game, though.
