I was meaning to say, it does not look up to the standard we (and nexon) hold for their character artwork. I did not mean to imply that I myself can draw well (I knew someone was going to call me out on that).

The art is too different for it to be real.. Sad, because I'm interested in that fellow on the left. A harp and flute ? sounds fun.

It looks close at a glance, but if you look at it long enough it's pretty clear that it's different from standard Maplestory artwork (at least to me... O-o Not sure if taking art classes for 4 years has anything to do with that).
The most obvious giveaway to me are the eyes...

I'm pretty sure he means if you think that is bad, then he'd hate to see what you consider to be horrible artwork.

Come on everyone, the artwork is not up to Nexon's standards but is up pretty close. For a fan made work it sure deserves less critics and more recognition.

The anchor one looks AWESOME. I think this guy has much better ideas then Nexon does. I wish they would make those classes. Really good ideas.

Flat color on the fake, eyes are quite different from most promo art, are some of the most prominent features of the fake, though it is one of the best fanarts i've seen.

If I glanced at the images for a quick second, I'd probably have thought those were authentic KMS artwork, but if you looked at it a bit longer, you'd notice some differences and discrepancies between previous character art and this one.
