He pretty much IS a god. I mean, he can't die, he has like a majillion different hax sharingans and he knows every other jutsu. What more do you need?

Gotta agree with this, however he isn't altering reality, he is merely controlling Kabutos mind with his jutsu. You can clearly see it at the end of the chapter, when he is holding Kabuto's foreheard with his hand.

Despite his backstory I couldn't develop any liking for Kabuto. He is just a jutsu thief, except nowhere near as cool as a Uchiha and the jutsus of his own are all... disgusting.

So, I was wondering, wouldn't making Kabutos edo tenseis be very close to backfiring in Itachis face?

After all, Kabuto didn't summon Madara. One of his summons did, and it's been made abundantly clear that removing the person who did the summoning is the absolute worst thing you can do with regards to edo tensei....

I don't know if Kabuto is going to make it out of the genjutsu in time, maybe he can, but it kinda seems like itachi wants him to. SAsuke would still kill him though...

The way I got it, if Kabuto "accepts" himself and stops trying to become something more, he'd get out of the jutsu, but he'd also realize what he is doing is wrong and/or quit, so it is a win/win for Itachi... unless there is more to it we don't know.

That freaking explaniation of Izanami was only making it more complicated than it is and all that shet about 2 Uchihas fighting using Izanami made no sense.
