It's true though . Though the pictures everyone were googling were terrible which is why I was planning to upload it. It was funny because I was planning on buying like a used elantra/accord/sonata (accent just is too small imo), but the mileage on the sonata sucks, and they we're trying to sell me a used 12k miles 2010 accord for 17.5k. I could have probably dropped it to 14ish but for that price I figured buying a new car would be better. My dad has a 2010 elantra with 12k left on it and had more perks than the 2011 varients which were used.

Eventually my dad and I just told him that if he can't get us a car that's reasonably compared to his 2010 elantra SE(40k miles, preferred package) then we're gone, cus I'll just buy his off. So the dealer finally cracks down and offers me a 2013 elantra, only one on the lot, 18k clean, 3k down payment, preferred package.

Not a bad deal. Strike that, that's a pretty fucking good deal, lol. And it's a nice car to boot. Commence paranoia of any little scratch and parking in the back corner of parking lots to avoid door dings and stupid drivers!

I still don't understand why people buy new cars though when they're so young. I make what most would consider to be good money and I still won't go out and buy a new car. It's an unnecessary noose around the neck at such a young age. Though that might just be me because my insurance is like 4 grand a year.

Jesus, mines like $1200 . It's not my first car, I shared with my parents, a CRV, which I hated. My mom smokes in it and is constantly dirty cus it's the neighborhood taxicab. It was higher on the seat though so I'm trying to get used to the new perspective.

Honestly I never thought I'd end up in a new car, but even my dad agreed that with the (6 dealerships, Hyundai being last, because we wanted their insurance), this was a deal I couldn't say no too, the used cars were between 14-16k that were decent(12k-45k miles). I'm essentially paying 2 extra grand for the extra assurance that the entire front wasn't welded on to look nice(2011 dodge charger at the baltimore car mall, f`ucking broke out laughing).

Why did you buy new? Could have got a 2012 Elantra(if thats what you really want o-o) for a good 6-8 grand cheaper.
