Top and Bottom eqs. for Brawlers?

Is it worth it to use str top and dex bottoms with speed on my brawler or should i stick with the regular dex overalls?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Top+Bottom is probably fine for now, but since all the Pirate equips are overalls, you'll have much better base stats on higher level overalls. Meaning you'll have to scroll a really good set to compete with high level overalls.

I think it depends on how funded you are; not because of what you'd be able to scroll on the actual overall/top/bottom but more because of how much DEX you would need. For example, if you're really really funded, you probably don't need any DEX at all from your overall/top/bottom and would probably get the most out of an overall scrolled for STR. If you have mediocre funding (or DEX), a top/bottom would serve you best. If you're not so rich, a 20ish DEX overall will be fine for quite a while. This paragraph assumes you have very low (not higher than about 30) DEX, though.

And for the record, having a speed bottom is really really helpful. I'd recommend top/bottom to as many people as possible but I think it's a little too late for that. I'm sure prices in all servers for those types of scrolls have skyrocketed now.

Thanks for the quick reply everyone. I scrolled myself a 16str top and 15dex bottoms so I guess I'm gonna use that for now. I was more worried about the accuracy to hit monsters since Brawlers are a lot like warriors.

I bought a 14 str top and 15 dex bottoms (both lvl 11), and I only spent 145m total XD. A 29 stat overall would probably have cost me quadruple that. I highly recommend going top/bot to anyone.

For now, top and bottom is good, but later overall will potentially yield more stats as you're scrolling +0 top and bottoms while higher level overalls come with +8 or more.

But with all the power brawlers have, they have to have some disadvantages which are the speed/mobility issue and low acc [up to a certain point]

Overalls also have the advantage of relatively cheap 60%s. If you land 2-3 30%s, you can finish it for <40mil. If you want to do the same to a top or bottom you're looking at 50+m per scroll >_<

Dunno about Bera...but I sold OA DEX 30% for 15 mil yesterday and OA DEX 60% for 10 mil the day before that... =X

It really depends on what weapon you plan on capping at. If you intend on the level 110 knuckz with 20 base dex like me, you prolly need a dex overall, depending on the rest of your equips, and how accessible a HT pendent/egg is for you.

That's from AP resets and stuff but ideally, all one looks for is the total number of stats you get and also so you don't go over the constraint for your armor/weapon.

If i were to buy a 13-15 dex bottom, how much would that cost?
