Because some people still find enjoyment in the game without worrying about damage whoring or abusing exploits.

Just in case I wasnt very clear..since I probably wasnt.. I was referring to the people that were saying "HA ! they barely removed anything !" unless this refers to you.. I know there is still a small (very small) percent that still likes the game regardless of damage whoring or abusing exploits..

Getting to 200 is easy, getting high end gear without using NX is not. If you did not spend a crapload of hours to get a 100k+ range you are either one in a million or exploit the crap out of hacks, glitches and those that use said methods.

Please enlighten me, how is this game easy for you? Better yet, what is your definition of easy?
With all the duped/hacked items it's REALLY hard to keep up with the definition of "standard" or "average" in this game. If you don't throw some NX to get yourself a racc mask or a vss when they get mass duped and get "cheap" as hell in MTS there's no way you can keep up with what the maple calls "average range".
The only way this game is "easy" is being a hacker, spend at least 50k Nx every month... or being a Demon Slayer.

?????? 90% of my equips have no potential stats, weapon has 3 line of pomegranate stats, i got lucky with a 1 reveal unique czak helm got lucky with a 1 cubed HTP came out 6%str bought some cheap ass 6%str earring for 50mil haha then got lucky with 15% atk on it , with all this i have near 70k range buffed quite good enough to kill most bosses besides empress, oh i abuse them rollbacks for maple points alright just like many people here at southperry with 20+ accounts

the hell? who says im even competing with any of you online LOL i don't give a pineapple if you have 999999 range ill do what ever the pineapple i do, easy as in lvls 1-120 can be done within 12hrs or so, you don't even have to play much then just start leeching for a bit till you get some sp to kill mobs faster at LHC and wala soon enough ur good to go with ur own boss runs and what not making them mesos

You mean those mesos which require PSOK in order to sell items to get a 5m profit, excluding a few decent books. You say people are stupid for buying nx yet they are 10x if not more efficient than you, thus saving time. It all even's out. Sure you save money but you don't save time, which can just be as frustrating. Not that I'm endorsing you should buy nx, or anyone for that matter. However anyone who plays the game in general is just playing on a loss no matter what methods you take to avoid it.

Routine work like grinding is easy. But in no way is it not time-consuming.

I wonder if people realise just how not-so-easy it is for people like me to even attempt to hit lvl150 without burning too much time a day or mesos.

I don't think we are talking about the same "difficulty".
I'm not saying time consuming = hard.
I'm saying "average damage" = hard. <- Being a DS has A LOT to do with this.
