Empress killable legitimately

I wouldn't be surprised if they were making thousands of dollars a month, it's public knowledge that this game is completely broken in numerous respects. It's amazing that I can drop $50 USD on nx and could possibly end up worse off from where I started while hackers are controlling boss runs and charging people $250 to just fight the f'ucking thing.

Truly ridiculous and I am starting to agree with you KhainiWest- We are all masochists, but what's worse is that many of us pay money to satisfy our craving to be screwed over.

Does seem ridiculous. Weren't the dupe hackers selling fully scrolled and cubed empress weapons for not much more than that a few weeks back? I can't imagine myself paying that much to a hacker for the slight chance that he would follow through on the deal and actually give me the weapon and not just scam me. I believe they all demand prepayment in Nx or paypal (as opposed to trading for stacks of white scrolls or other commodities), so there is no way to avoid setting yourself up to be scammed.

Had a run in with a 146 DrK who bought the Empress Spear and was doing 50k hits, but because he has an empress weapon, he acted like he was "the pomegranate". It disgusts me.

As far as I know, there is no current way to dupe (or if there is, it's extremely private). So those weapons were easier to come by back when dupe was out.
In no way am I supporting buying items from a hacker, but think about it...you scam someone $150, word spreads fast that you're a scammer...Why scam and get $150, when you can not scam and make more money?

There was a thread on the nexon forums but that was locked by a mod stating it was not an appropriate
place to report hackers/player abuse.

At least Nexon should be aware that this is happening at empress.

Specs got to the point of being 6k nx yesterday.

There was a thread on the nexon forums but that was locked by a mod stating it was not an appropriate

going across a different forum yielded this, which is just a theory, but if those ele staffs were scrolled (dunno if you mean +8 or &8) you can disregard.

I saw a few days ago on Nexon forums, where someone posted a new exploit involving the Granny Shop's "buy" option, stating that hackers were able to send packets and generate any items they wanted. I didn't believe this at first, but after looking at Specs, RM, Maple danas, chairs, ele staffs, this seems like the only viable explanation as to the MTS crisis.
Is anyone able to confirm this? I don't see why dupers would dupe clean items..

They are all clean because you can only place clean items in the granny shop. Clearly the rumor must be true considering the rate at which Spectrum goggles are appearing in the mts and they are all clean.

That's insane.

It is compounded by the fact that Nexon decided to make Cygnus only available on one channel. It makes the hackers' job incredibly easy. At least when it was Zakum and other monsters there had to be more than one guy being a total pimento.

Honestly this just proves that there's no GM involvement in this game anymore, and that Nexon NA just doesn't care. Closing a thread saying that it's not the place to report hackers, when EVERYONE, INCLUDING NEXON knows that their support system is AWFUL (And they've even admitted it on DFO's forums or one of their games). I can slightly understand closing the thread, if they had given feedback right there, which they did not. Close the thread because the only one who can give input is Nexon, the rest of the thread would be whining and complaining (Not that I can blame them). Nexon should have closed it, but given some fucking information about what they are doing.

As for GM involvement...all it takes is for ONE GM to be invisible on the map. Instantly ban anyone who threatens making people pay to do Cygnus. There's literally no excuse for this, and there should be no remorse, no hesitation in solving this. Their TOS says they can ban you whenever they want for any reason they want. Threatening players is a REALLY good reason.

Honestly, I don't mean to sound like an pimento, but this is one more reason on the ever growing stack of reasons that I'm happy I have no intention of playing GMS seriously again. I'm not really sure how so many people are still playing it at this point. It took them, what, 5 years to fix duping, and that wasn't even the biggest problem the game has (which is REALLY sad).

There was a thread on basil yesterday where someone saw a Crying Mask in scania.

Thought he was mistaken but after reading the updated pages today players stated it came from an item hack.
Similar to what shinku pointed out earlier.
