Mediocre. Your Hard Drive won't have anything to do with your Maple Story performance, your RAM does, I believe. Try going for a 4 GB one, if not, just add more RAM manually. =)

Are there any "Mom and Pop" (Privately owned) computer shops around your house you can go to? Those often have better pc's for way, way less.

I'd go for custom if you're planning on spending that much
If you're not comfortable with going custom, then try to find a local computer shop and see if you can get one built there (assuming their prices are reasonable)

2 GB RAM with Vista? Eh, it's average in my book.

It's fine if you want to play maple in fullscreen, might run into problems playing in windowed.

2GB for vista is way more than enough. I've built a machine with 2GB for my mom and it's got vista business installed. Runs fine without any problems. Only about 50% of ram used most of the time. It runs maple fine, just not in windowed. It's due to the integrated graphics card.

The computer has NVIDIA GeForce 7100 Graphics with TurboCache, it will do a decent job as long as you keep it updated. This has been an area of concern with most of the computers purchased by family and friends. It is a pain to get a really nice computer only to find out the video card is junk.Hurt
