Gotta admit this match was a disappointment. 28 pages long chapter and it was mostly dumb fanservice. I don't really like Mira due to her Satanic Soul, I mean... you saw her transformation didn't you? That should be a downer to any sane man

I feel like somehow the evil dudes are gonna use the derp mage that just lost and then Lucy + Fairytail is going to save her. Lucy has to get the stellar spirit keys though cause that seems to be her thing.

Lol at the "your life is mine now". It's obviously a hint into what's to come. Arcadios is gonna kidnap Yukino and since Kagura "owns" her now, she is so gonna draw her sword out and let hell loose over Crocas. I'm calling for it now, watch her Bankai

This fight doesn't make justice to Yukino though, she was overpowered so easily that she looked so weak despite being a beast too. Also, a freaking problem with that these fights is they are too short, but I hope that is because what is to come out of the magic games is gonna be way more awesome. I'm looking forward watching this in the anime.

It just doesn't make sense that in 7 years there will be so many guilds stronger than fairy tail. People are constantly getting better and better or what? Shouldn't the old characters like Makarov be ridiculously broken (like wtfhaxAizen-level), if only 7 years really makes that much of a difference...?

Yes? They've already proven that they were in the top 7 guilds in the manga after the time skip. It would be ridiculously stupid if they didn't have a few S rank equivalents.
It seems funny, which guilds are supposed to be stronger than fairy tail again? The only losses fairy tail have so far are:

Lucy Vs Corona: Lucy Kerbstomped Corona so ridiculously but lost because of her teammate cheating.
Natsu/Gajeel: Couldn't move due to travelsickness. Same applied to Sting. How is this showing they're weak?

The only actual loss fairy tail have so far is when Juvia and Grey losing once in the very first match. But by that standard, only RAven tail would count as a *not weak* guild by this point, if losing any one challenge under fair circumstances was enough to classify you as weak.

.... I can't tell if you're being serious or not. Are you saying Makarov isn't ridiculously broken? How many other characters in the manga do you actually think could stop a dragon in it's tracks on their own, even momentarily, when it straight up defeated gildarts before he could react? Or defeat a wizard saint level mage in a single hit?

It's 7 years. That's a long time buddy. Roughly half of your life, Satellite. If not half your life then at least half of the life you were conscious about.

I'm so happy that someone finally put Sabertooth in its place. Wasn't expecting this level of badassery from Mermaid Heel, but rock on. I love how they were hyping up Yukino as possibly a really strong contender against Lucy or even better than her... and then she lost to Kagura. I also learned from Kagura how you make someone your bitch.

There's only a couple hundred or so bad guys. Jellal was probably the second most evil character, so it' no surprise Kagura wants to kill him...

I liked this chapter too.

I liked it too. The pace was slowed down to what manga chapters usually are which is nice and we got a few nice set-ups for things to come. Lucy will probably gain some awesome spirit keys from this defeated mage and some drama unfolds which will likely deepen the relationship between jellal and erza.

Mage gives lucy all her keys to go on a journey of self discovery; ends up getting kidnapped by the bad guys for their magic gate thing; everyone goes to save her cause it's fairytail; somewhere towards the end, Jellal is revealed to be mystogan and all hell breaks loose.
