Anyone can wear them, but they suck if you are not a Demon Slayer or Mercedes compared to a Czak or even a Targa/Scar hat.

I do have an invisible hat (permanent, since I would never buy a 90day), but having a cool hat related to your favorite class, that's some real love from Nexon.

I would love an Evan related Hot Time hat, but I guess I have to settle with my "Overpowerful" skills...

Those aren't cooldowns to the actual skills.
I take it you didn't read the thread?

And I wonder if the anvil thing is job restricted.
Would be funny to turn my thief equips into bowman equips or something.

Hey, if you use an anvil on an item and you drop it, does it remain in it's new look or does it turn back to normal?

I'm a pretty badass thief, aren't I? What with my Doombringer and Combo Attack, thank god they gave Thieves that new Raging Blow skill, huh?

So.. I take it that lvl 70 to 100 players are the most profitable for Nexon or something, because that's the only way to explain why there are like 10 different weapon sets just for that short range of levels (and if we stretch it to lvl 130 there are like 10 more where 6 of them are recolors). Come on Nexon, those lvl 79 weapons should have been your overdue lvl 150 Holy Set of weapons (except with more white and yellow instead of purple).

Reminds me of that event NexAm held asking for NPC ideas on their facebook page, in which someone suggested an NPC that could change the color of your armor using magic powders and mesos. It's kind of the same concept but many times better.

It keeps the new look.

What if you merged items A and B to make it look like B, then merged C and A(which looks like B), would it look like A or B?

Or can you not re-anvil an item that's been anvil'd?

@iAmFear: Oh cool, so you keep both items! That's pretty awesome.

So it works as long as the two items are of same category or is there a limit on what items you can turn into?

Ex.
Raccoon Mask > Spectrum Goggles
Kage > Elemental Staff 6
Dragon Tail Mage Sallet > Lionheart Battle Helm

?

When you anvil, you have two slots, the first slot is the item you want the item in the second slot to look like. You can use an anvil'd item to give its anvil'd appearance to another item. So in your example, C would look like B. You can continue to anvil as many times as you want, and you retain both items used, just the second one looks like the first one afterwards.

You can anvil cross class, but not cross item type, as in, no Top/Bottom to Overall, or a weapon to a different weapon.

Every time you use an anvil you get a use item, a black package, that gives you various rewards, like level 40 glasses, a mount, potions, scrolls, and, though I've only gotten the sword, old maple items that are 5 levels lower than usual.

I like the idea of the Anvil stuff, but I fear horrible things will come from it lol.

Guess I'm going to change my mage empress set to warrior (best one imo) and vip mage shield to vip warrior for the matching red glow.

I wonder if people would pay for rare item changes such as mark of the beta.

Personally I'm gonna change my Phantom's Ravenhorn Chaser Hat to Phantom's signature hat, because that is badass.

Don't you lose the look-like item in the anvil process?
So I can't rent your Mark of the Beta to make my czak take on its look, I wouldn't be able to return it.
