Victoria Island GPQs
#1
All across Victoria Island, new secrets are being discovered. Some of these are dark and contain enormous power. You and your guild must go to these now areas to defeat the darkness inside of each to keep Victoria safe.

Ellinia- A secret passage way has shown a way to get to the tops of the giant Ellinian trees. However, up here, where monsters have been left alone for thousands of years, have grown more powerful with the strong magic coming from below. You get to this area by following the tunnel through the tree. Monsters include more powerful slimes and Evil Eyes, along with branches that have come to life. The boss at the end of this quest is the Eye, the leader of all the Evil Eyes who has grown powerful magic attacks and extra physical attack resistance due to the sun's rays hardening its skin.

Henesys- A few kids were foolinf around in the fields of Henesys recently. However, they broke open a window to the house at the base of the giant tree, and discovered the evils lurking inside. Since nobody thought to check up on the owner of the house for decades, creatures invaded the house and took over the tree. You get to this house by going along the fields of Henesys, and the monsters that broke out of the house include more powerful pigs and mushrooms. The boss of the quest is the most powerful mushroom in the game- Not only because it has higher stats, but because it's grown arms and legs by drawing massive stores of energy from the tree.

Kerning City- A few gang members walking the streets of Kerning looking for a new hideout broke into one of the skyscrapers and found the inside teeming with monsters. The monsters inside drew power from the systems of the building, becoming more powerful. You get to the skyscraper by traveling the backstreets of Kerning, going by shady mushrooms and octopi. At the top of the skyscraper lies a massive octopus, which has developed electrical attacks from the systems of the tower.

The Nautilus- Deep inside the Nautilus, so far down that no one even knew of its existance, monsters have taken residence. These include some fish that sneaked in from Ossyria's ocean and has been there since. This area includes all new monsters, like some angler fish. You get to this area by going further into the Nautilus. At the bottom, a massive shark has broken through the hull, and to get it out so the ship can be repaired you must defeat it. Note-- This area is completely underwater.

Sleepywood- Down in the roots of the great tree that encompasses Sleepywood, the most powerful monsters of Victoria were found. At first there are more powerful Zombie Mushrooms, but further down there are more feral Tauromaceses and Taurospears. You get to this area by an extention to the sleepy dungeon. At the bottom of the roots of the great tree, you find the most evil creature of all-- Balrog.

I just thought of these areas while boreed grinding, tell me what you think of them Biggrin

More ideas for the stages please Biggrin. The background stories are pretty good, but I'd think you might want to change the Sleepywood one to something that doesn't include Balrog.

Why not? It's epic and it fits. Besides, it makes the sleepywood one seem more important than the others- the other ones are simply to protect the town, but this is to protect the world. :O

And I haven't thought of anything at all for the stages. That might takea bit Biggrin

Well, everything else has you creating a new monster, but the Sleepywood one reintroduces the Balrog.

Crimson Balrog has a title, like a ranking, and Jr Balrog is well, Jr.

This one is the big bad balrog.

It was all great xD

I could only find one flaw, and it was the Nautilus part. The Nautilus is pretty much a big whale, it wouldn't really be... Yeah, it wouldn't be so good. I'd say you should put it underneath the whale, in some area mixed with caves and deep water, but in a different way than Aqua Road dungeon.

The Ellinia part is something I have been longing for to be released for a long time. It would be the most epic place ever :O
