Played a game with Hecarim in the PBE. Built an I-edge with 2 Phantom dancers, was sprinting with my e at 800 move speed. So much fun. LOL

AP (tanky AP) Skarner works quite well. There's a reason I suggested a Rylai's to Maspan during one of our matches (I didn't realize he was going tanky AD, lol).

i dont think its a good idea to go squishy burst caster build on a champ with abilities made to spam and sustain, especially melee. lich bane kinda has 2 uses... extra burst for veigar archetypes, or extra sustained damage for ap's that can always proc it on cd. melees without true gap closers shouldnt do #1 for sure, its asking for death.

Agreed. It works really well for Ziggs and Ahri because of their long range and naturally high damage output, but it's not a good idea for someone like Skarner. Lich Bane is a bit of a waste on him vice Trinity Force/Sheen when you'd have to stack a significant amount of AP for it to outdamage the Sheen proc in the first place, let alone the other benefits of a Trinity.

I've routinely broken 500 MS on some melee champions, namely Skarnerssss and Shyvana.

you only need about a large rod worth of ap for the lich bane upgrade to be w0rth, but the ~2300 would be probably be better spent upgrading the rod to deathcap on most champs. but for tanky ap, getting it after say... double dorans rylais probably wouldnt be bad.

i could see double doran -> sheen -> rod -> lich bane on a backdoor tf, but thats about it. no other champ is really good at abusing weak-ish lich bane procs.

He's also slow to realize things. There was one point where I ran away because I saw him coming for blue from behind the grass. He called Annie for help, but they never found me. After like 20 seconds or something, he starts to kill blue, but I stole it with Smite over the wall.

I heard it's slightly a waste because of wasted stats, and if it looks like it's starting to suck, I may switch or add Madred's too, for my W. The reason I think it works so nicely is because W is a on hit, and Slice and Dice counts as a skill each. :3

Also, in an ARAM - MFW Nidalee heals me just before a tower can execute me, giving Twisted Fate's cards just enough time to graze me before the next tower shot could finish the job. She turned an execution into free gold for Twisted Fate. So mad. Lulu kept shielding me too. New best troll ever - execution blocking.[/COLOR]
