Considering Tobi has a perfect Izanagi (or at least enough Uchiha eyes for losing 1 eye not to be an issue) he probably would have cancelled Itachi's Izanami, and then left Itachi in a big disadvantage. Besides, the real question should be, why after so many years in Akatsuki didnt he collect intel on its members and send it to Kohona to help them strengthen their defenses.

Plus Tobi knows Itachi is "good" anyways, so he wouldn't give him any important information.

The 3rd, Danzo and those 2 elders knew the truth. I'm sure at the very least Danzo would have trusted Itachi, but not so sure Itachi would've trusted Danzo.

So posted my thoughts earlier in the Bleach thread, but I thought this was a cool chapter. Not much happened, but some backstory is always nice. Idk why Kishi had to make me sympathize with Kabuto though... dude is such a plantain.

I'm more annoyed that he's stalling with backstory no one cares about rather than with backstory that's actually interesting.

We should all be used to this by now, especially since many of us read Bleach. Backstory always comes at inconvinent times whether or not we actually want it.

Well, as he said it himself, he is no longer a side character and has turned into a main antagonist. He has took control over the war and is leading it better than Tobi himself, so makes sense we get to learn more back story to him.

This back story can do 2 thinks, make us sympathise with him or make us hate him even more. For the little I've seen I think I'm gonna hate him even more. Watch him turn against that one nun that recieved him and helped him, killing her for to some twisted logit. (I'd say watch her try to kill him but that's already Gaara and his uncle's story).

If she tries to kill him and/or ends up killing her, it wouldn't make sense for him to keep the glasses.

I'm calling she gets killed by the leaf in some way. But...no, it can't be...that's way too obvious...

Watch Orochimaru making the nun one of his host bodies and Kabuto getting attached to him from then on due to that

Why cant the japanese put shows like these in breaks? Like someone said in another forums, there are tons of great series which could use a second season.
