If the frog's explaniations of the Sage mode tell us something is that Kabuto's Sage mode is imperfect and if he absorbs too much chakra he will turn into a full snake (or a dragon). Either way I hope this battle ends soon.

I thought it was cool that there are parts to Izanagi that we don't fully understand yet and it is also cool that we are getting some more backstory on Itachi and EVENTUALLY some more information on Tobi.

You don't need a time machine to see that Izanami was coming. The uchiha techniques have been based on on Japanese myths. If they had a technique called Izanagi, you can sure as hell bet his wife Izanami was gonna get a technique. I'm not saying I saw it coming this exact chapter or anything.
