Denied from Cornell

They just don't recognize my full potential.

It happens, Bryan. When I was a high school senior I applied to Cornell, early decision, with a triple legacy (both parents and an uncle), and was flat-out denied as well.

Now, three years later, I couldn't be happier where I am, and don't know if going to Cornell, had I gotten in, would have landed me where I am as quickly or to the same degree. Life has funny ways of working out, and knowing that you've already been accepted to a million schools, I'm sure you'll end up where you're supposed to.

That being said, I'm still massively rooting for you in your fight against Crohn's, which is your most difficult challenge yet, in my opinion. pineappleing disease needs to go die, ruining lives and all.

I'm still probably to give the priority wait list to Carnegie-Mellon a shot, though.

Funny because when I applied they asked if I had any legacies. I remember multiple spaces on the application where I filled in names and relationships.

Oops. I meant to say "that doesn't recognize legacy that much" like lolPrinceton and lolHarvard where any relative will be an insta-in.

Paper done, feeling good after my revisions. Stats exam wasn't bad at all, I may have lost a couple points but not overly worried. Long day tomorrow, school all day then doing a lab report then finishing up the last of the Chemistry homework and starting to review material for the exam Monday. Spending majority of Saturday volunteering in Detroit then getting my ear pierced later then more studying, then studying all day Sunday, then exam on Monday, then back to living.

Living is of course studying right?

Just kidding. I'd go on a nice hike somewhere and enjoy the scenery. Alone.

Today has been a really slow lazy day. I was hungover for a looong time today.

It felt slow in the morning, but the afternoon picked it up. Nothing too much happened today, tomorrow I'm hanging out with my Best Friend.
