I've liked pretty much everything that ive seen from the beta updates so far, really curious to see how this warlock tanking is going to pan out

Makes no sense anyways. People praised AoE looting for SWTOR, yet they deem it a "terrible" thing in WoW.

My stupid radar is picking up a large amount of Fan dumbs on the WoW side. That or are SWTOR fanboys being rear devastated WoW "copies" SWOTR, which is supposedly a WoW clone and... oh god I've gone cross eyed.

people complained about MoP because it have pandas, and it looked childish, yet blizzard has proven that the new expansion will be amazing.

people will always complain, no matter what.

about the AoE looting, the best implement wow could have, no more killing a pack of 15 mobs and have to click 15 times to loot their crap.

yea me too. i had just started leveling mine a few hours before the ghostcrawler post. Atleast I didnt waste too much time on it.

I'm leveling a lock anyway, just kind of disappointed.

MMOC has previews of both raids I linked, plus the third, all with proper lighting!

I already had a 75 Lock long before this stuff, nothing changes with me lol.

I think they just aren't ready yet to stick in yet another real tank into the game. They're already adding another tank with Monks, a cloth tank would probably make things too hectic, not to mention it's a slippery slope from there where if Warlock tanks get through, it may just encourage people to demand that every other class have some tanking spec as well, and that'll just get stupid. People already suggested Shaman tanks for the longest while just because they have mail and a shield. <_>

They used to "Tank" in Vanilla, albeit "Off-Tank" role in weird scenarios.

Now that I don't really remember. Paladins and Druids tanking in Vanilla? Yes. Shamans tanking? Not really. Maybe in the old 5-man/10-man dungeons and with raiding gear on.

Warriors were the ONLY Tanks in Vanilla.

Back in Vanilla, every class was designed around one spec, granted you had those "weird" specs such as "Enhancement Shaman", aka the "Tank spec".

Correction: Paladins and Druids had one viable raiding spec, which was healing. And my bad in making it seem like I meant "main tanking" for Pallies and Druids. As testimony, I've been made to off-tank the BWL Nefarian fight where adds were coming through a door before, and I think a couple times before a Druid in my guild with the highest armor off-tanked one of the Twin Emperors in AQ40. But of course, never been designated a MAIN tank. Warriors were the only viable MAIN tanks in Vanilla. Raiding off-tanks? Druids, and to a lesser degree Pallies.

And "Enhancement Shaman" back then in Vanilla was more of a gimmicky PvP build thanks to Windfury, where when luck they can proc a load of hits and one shot squishies. God help you if were caught off guard by a Windfury Shaman and were wearing a dress.

The "Windfuryception" thing was hilarious as hell.

Also, I didn't know much about Druid and Paladin "Off Tanks" as my Vanilla guild only used Warriors and since I was Horde, we didn't have Paladins.
