1->120...in 2 hours...without doing anything. I left a controller on my keyboard and watched Netflix on my TV for two hours (With the occasional checkin to make sure everything was going fine). Now imagine if I didn't go to bed after that, and just made 5 more characters. Now imagine half the community doing that. Probably 1,000,000+ new characters that are all Lv.120 or higher...after doing nothing.

If that's not worthy of a rollback, nothing is.

The problem is that NexonNA has been pissing people off so much recently that a rollback might just be the last straw for a lot of them, which considerably lowers the chances that it will happen.

Time. Regardless of how easy it has become, it still takes time to do it. Unless of course you can just hold down a button for a few hours and do something else.

I dont get it ... o.0. getting to 120 in a day is not big feat these days i mean if they were all getting to 200 in a day I'd get it.
120 is just the beginning of maplestory, its nothing to get excited over or to roll back over.
even if 2.8 million level 120's were made the game is still not ruined.
I think the maximum amount of levels you could have gained in the 9 hours and 15 mins would be like 14x or something. Still not the end of the world.

It's still a massive amount of cheating. Regardless of any other fact. Everyone who took advantage of this cheated. I forgot that in GMS, cheating is normal, so I guess you're right. But while you're at it, no more complaining about hackers, vaccers, dupers, botters, or any other type of cheating. Since the economy is so pineappleed up at this point anyway it doesn't really matter does it?

Where exactly do you guys draw the line? Probably only when it inconviences you.

You had to wait the 30 minutes until the reward quest showed up at the NPC, then just have a full USE inventory. It gave you the EXP before it checked to see if you could actually accept the item reward, and if you couldn't it didn't officially complete the quest, but you got the EXP.

Oh, I never pushed it that far. Got about 30% on my Dual Blade just for the sake of science and stopped expoiting it. Probably I was also doing it wrong.

Anyway the Golden Statues at least required a little effort, this glitch was being exploited so much more, since all you needed to do was know how to use your space bar, and afk.

I'm also not sure if this is worth a rollback, even having thousands of exploiters making level 120 characters in 2 hours seems insignificant compared to other exploits that have been present in the game for years.

If you had lots of gold/silver slimes drops from Neo City 1st stage, and you know what to do, you could very well get 200k a minute just because the quest keeps refreshing. But nobody abuses that I think, because it's way too troublesome. *If this is against rules, pls delete entire post ty*

Everything before 70 actually feels like a complete waste of time to me.

The difference between an experience exploit and all of the things you listed is that an experience exploit is the only one that doesn't have a numerable affect on other players.

I understand why such exploits should exist (it's still cheating), but it doesn't have the effect of making others' efforts futile.

EDIT: Actually, the only reason I can see this as having a real (i.e. economical) affect is because there are a bunch of level-up events going on right now. Otherwise, yeah, I don't think this is such a big deal.

The quest doesn't restart itself until you log out AND the quest involves killing slimes, not just collected their drops.
Should be fixed regardless, but it's nowhere close to as big of a deal as the egg thing.
