Sarah Wrote:What is the white lady?

From what I understand, it's a female maple character that has completely white hair, skin, eyes, and equips. Apparently she pops up around Perion every so often and people are banned when they see her. Of course, I've only seen one thread about this on Gamefaqs a while back, so take it with a grain of salt.

Speaking of Gamefaqs, I remember someone adamantly defending a myth there once. Something about Fame increasing item drop rate.

I feel bad for Evans, Mir must be really distracting when trying to time jumps xD

Sounds like it was taken from .hack

It's not that bad. After living with the frustration for a while, you end up having quite a good amount of patience.

Just do the zak jq as an Evan, and enjoy!

Yeah, I think someone already mentioned this. Bob was taken out with the BB patch so it doesn't really matter anymore :x

Threads on Basil pop up about her every now and then. People believe in her and it's just strange.

I remember there being some theory about item drops from monsters being related to your current EXP, and some people swore that if you kept track of your EXP every time you got a rare drop from a mob, you'd see a pattern and be able to predict when you were in your "drop range" to farm particular monsters for rarer drops.

Hm... while interesting, it doesn't seem to be prevalent enough to put on my thread. I've also never seen anyone actually claiming such a thing :f6:

Haven't heard of this, but I do remember hearing that luk increased your drop rate.

Maroon Mop was brought up in the thread along with a screenie.

Could it be the result of modding/wz editing?

Edit: Here's another.

No it's not, the base weapon attack is indeed 220.

-snip-

I wasn't referring to the attack value. I was asking whether or not it is possible that the screenie taker edited the client in such a way that it would display a Maroon Mop instead of another item; something I see as extremely plausible because both of those screenies were taken by the same person in the same FM, and the items have the same stats.

Something similar to this, except with an item.

It's in Henesys though.

Reminded me of Bob the snail, years back. Ohhh then they actually put it in. Good times.

The White Lady of Perion will ban you and such? What?!

Why are people spreading such hateful rumors about Ayan?! She's a sweet girl!

Bob was always *in*. That was the name given to the lone snail who manned up and got his ass all the way to drakes meal table despite lacking the crucial ability to jump and climb ropes (And being 47 levels below everything else there). Then GMS named him officially much later, giving him better stats (granted, he was still a snail meaning ridiculously weak...) and let him summon a bunch of regular snails on death.

Hm, I think it was something a few people thought up in beta and continued to practice through the early days of Scania. I don't think it was a hugely known theory but I remember a few people trying to explain it to me. It might've even been kept as a 'secret' among a group of people I knew because it supposedly worked so well. Even if such a thing were true, it probably doesn't really apply anymore with the new drop rates.

Another thing I remember is if you had a warrior, to leave final attack at the level in which it only has a 10% chance of occurring and counting how many swings it took to get it to activate, 'mastering' the pattern. Then you could swing x amount of times and when your next attack is anticipated to activate final attack, use a 10% scroll instead and it was "guaranteed" to pass.
