The problem for ringtones is that they can't be a song with a slow start since you'll only ever listen to the first seconds of it. That's why Tank! is such a good option.

My ringtone is supposed to be the melody of death from the movie "One Missed Call", but it seems to be different from the Japanese versions I can find on youtube, so I probably downloaded the wrong one two years ago.
And yes, it's the one that plays before someone picks up their own phone and hears a voicemail containing the exact sounds that are at the time of their death. And yes, I freaked myself out the first few times my phone rang at night.

My phone is usually on silent/vibrate, but this is my ringtone when it's not... not that anyone ever actually calls me. I just use one of the default sound effects for texts.
