Tales of Graces F
Sarah Wrote:JoeTang do Grade Shop things stack? So, for example, if I bought 2x SP and 3x SP would I get 6x SP? Or do they add together for 5x SP. Orrrr would it make me choose one?
They stack multiplicatively. So 2x and 3x SP is 6x SP. 2x and 5x EXP is 10x EXP.

So is the Book of Growth worth my time? It doesn't seem like it grows at a more significant rate than doing anything else with the mixer.

It's worthwhile if you've run out of items to duplicate at any decent speed. I use that, two food items (one in battle and one post-battle) and I keep my growth speed the same as when I had 5 items moving rapidly and 2 food items. It's a nice substitute if you want to use other manuscripts like Serendipity, Speed, etc.

edit: HAHAHAHA found a second skit that had me cackling. Painful Finish.

Hubert... you want Pascal's messing around to bring you to a painful finish?!

These future arc skits are waaay better than the main arc ones.

edit: JoeTang do you know where all of the discovery points are? I'm missing 81, 83, 84 and 85. I know I probably haven't reached the latter 3 yet but I've definitely passed 81 somewhere. I hate missing skits.

81 is in the Future Arc, I believe at the end of the very first Future Arc dungeon. There's two discovery points in there. 81 is a "cornerstone"?
83 is in the forest area, you shouldn't be able to miss it. It's a giant blue flower, if I recall correctly.
84 and 85 are in the final dungeon area.

I'm not sure where I posted it earlier, but I had an EXP chart for Eleth, and I think I had one for slots for the mixer. The EXP for those are different, if you haven't found that out yet. Food only gives 1 EXP per use towards slots. Creating items gives the amount of Eleth consumed towards slot EXP, but they give considerably less towards Eleth boosting EXP.

SlotsEXPTotal EXP
430
5150180
6400580
710001580
820003580
950008580
101000018580
112000038580
124000078580
1370000148580
14100000248580
15150000398580
1690000009398580

So, Recipes give 1 EXP towards this. Any item created gives the amount of Eleth used. There's a Manuscript that gives 100 EXP whenever it activates.

Man all three bosses I've run into in Fendel are lame. Respawning mobs are one of the worst things to put in boss fights in any game. The bosses are hard enough, there's no need to have some guy come from no where to start pounding on you from behind right when you start to get the advantage against the boss.

Sorry for the double post but...

JoeTang do 95% of the skits need to be viewed in a single playthrough to get those titles or is it cumulative because of the system save data?

I'm pretty sure you need to do them all on a single playthrough.

Best way to get 999 hits is to go to the final boss/Ex Dungeon Boss and stunlock him with Bestial Roar apparently. You need to guard-break him and then use Bestial Roar, so charge up your guard after every hit, and have other characters use Assault Artes or something like that. Haven't really looked into it much.
Skip to like 4 hours 40 minutes.

There's an alternate form for the final boss when you clear the bonus dungeon. Just go back to where you fought the final boss and it will be there.

Ugh, I'm on the 4th floor of the bonus dungeon and these guys rape my face in 1 or 2 hits on chaos mode....and I'm level 100. And supposedly this is the best place to grind, too.... ugh. May need to drop the difficulty for this one.

Levelling takes god damn FOREVER. Even on 10x exp. This is bananas.

Wow, that's lame. The Vesperia costumes actually look kind of good but they come with a horrible battle theme.

Played some more of the English version with my friend. Just got to the part where you get Sophie back after the time-skip. I enjoy playing as Cheria. Can't wait to get Ethereal Rift, Divine Saber, and Frozen Rain <3

Cheria AI sucks the big one Sad
Kinda lame you're stuck with playing as either Hubert, Cheria, or Pascal for Chaos mode due to their sucky AI.

Cheria and Pascal's AI are fine. I've never had an issue with them. Hubert's sucks since he usually leaves himself vulnerable after attacking.

Maybe I have them setup wrong, because Cheria can't heal for pomegranate and Pascal likes to run up next to the enemies and cast stuff to her doom.

I have this problem as well. My Hubert AI is amazing.

Set Cheria's heal to like 50% or 75%, since her spells take a lot longer than Sophie. Remove Pixie Circle and give her some Bless? Pixie Circle is almost completely worthless unless you're playing manually and need that exact speed of healing.

Pascal either needs higher tier spells, or you need to baby sit what she's casting. Her tier 1 is pretty bad if she's on AI, I'd turn them all off. Her tier 2 is good all around, and her tier 3 smashes things apart easily.

Things I can't find that make me angry (I'm at the end of the present arc, about to go into what is most certainly the last dungeon):
 Swimsuits!
 Books!
I've really never had any problems with Cheria's healing. She always heals right when I need her to, and the only thing I ever change about her is defend/heal at 75% for bosses, 50% elsewhere. AI seems pretty good in this game for everything up to dodging. They're... meh at that. At least it's not fucking Estelle, right? That stupid peach (I loved her, but damn she just...) would never ever EVER heal when you actually wanted it. Everyone's at half health? Photon! Two people are dead? Holy Lance! The only way to get by in that game healing-wise was to bind Nightengale to something and watch the HP yourself.

Asbel's is in Oul Raye, right of the Item Shop in the jar.

Cheria's is in Sable Izore, at the Item Shop, you have to pay 10k to buy it.

Princess Stories is in Barona's inn, top floor right room closet.
