At least Zakum and HT have a plausible story for why they are where they are. Not sure about Pink Been though.

Endgame Boss is 100% for sure the black magician.
all the storyline of maplestory is about him.
even masteria has some connection for him. even the last translation at KMS(T) Translation topic about magatia just confirmed that the "Alchemist" from versal is the black magician.

I love how before you fight HT one of the NPCs asks you to "beat off Horntail." In the context of their kid-friendly pitch that typo seems very lulzy.
