You're taking the "fact" that it is actually a joke from Spadow, who got it from Insoya. Here's what else we've gotten from Insoya: that retarded "new pirate class" thread. That 999k-999k phantom range that was edited that fooled most people. And this has less to go on than either of those, it's mere speculation. Putting "PRANK" on the title of the thread is unnecessary and potentially misleading.

The 9th inkwell entry of a shadowed dawn warrior is similar to the 8th entry of a shadowed dual blade.
Both hinting of their return.

This 10th entry is similar to the 2nd entry which featured concept art and images of the pirate/thief skill changes.

As you've stated, such material may never see actual release but that didn't change the fact that there was a revamp.

The only confirmation of this being fake comes from speculation on insoya and everything else shows that possible skills changes

If this turns out to be an elaborate joke from nexon then good for them.

The wings/laser animation idea however has been reused so many times that this looks legit enough to be a future update.

Aran's laser is made of combo drain and BM's laser is made of drain arrow. That would be so much win...

Also, Bishop's laser is made of HS. Maybe it gives a x1.5 on the monsters hit, similar to Demon Cry but 50% instead of 20%?

The animations in the first post? They're on the official Maple website with the rest of the entries of Inkwell's diary here. It's the first image.
