Same here. Expecting really badass stuff to go down, but slightly annoyed that we are going to have to switch between 3 fights now. Lol @ Madara making it 5 v 1^5

I agree with this. Next chapter will probably switch back to naruto v tobi where he will unveil some crazy ass s'hit that naruto will have to overcome. This would finish beginning of all 3 major fights in the war and he can proceed with the actual fights themselves. I say beginning because even though madara v the kages have been going on for a while, madara hasn't really acknowledged their strength up until now where he busts out twenty five(!) clones to do battle.

Although it kinda bothers me that sasuke is as confused as he is as far as what's actually going on, but i guess if he wasn't he would have absolutely no possibility of coming back to konoha, and i guess it's understandable that he is considering he only just now joined the war.

What weirds me out is that RIGHT NOW Naruto and Sasuke are on the same side, for now :l

He would only die if he were still under kabuto's control, which he clearly isn't anymore because he is defying him.

Isn't his body still bound to the Edo Tensi though? I feel that he would cease to exist if the jutsu was ended.

Maybe, but i feel like if his mind isn't then it won't matter. If we think of it like a network then we can assume that since itachi is no longer part of that network then if it collapses it won't matter to him.

Well if it is that way, then we have a regenerating immortal Itachi and that seems way to broken imo to exist. Since he was brought back through the jutsu, I feel he should still be connected to it, although he is out of Kabuto's control.

At this point, I think everyones just accepting that "because I'm itachi and I can do that" is a legitimate reason for anything itachi does.

I dunno. I think he's probably going to disappear if the Edo Tensei ends, and he's probably aware of it too. On one hand, Kabuto can't forcibly unsummon itachi (obviously, else he would have done it ages ago). The problem is if Sasuke finds out that before Itachi can get Edo tensei diseplled, I'd think he's quite likely to actually Kill kabuto beforehand.

Of course, if the Kages would stop being such pansys and actually beat madara, Edo tensei wouldn't really need dispelling.

Either he knows he'll die again and is using sasuke's ignorance, or he doesn't know in which case it won't matter. Either way kabuto knows the answer to this question, so if he really thinks he can't handle them as a team he'll just tell sasuke and he'll probably go insane or something. Either way we know kabuto is f'ucked.

Well, he did kidnap that chick that was a proctor during the Chunin exams that was once a protegee of Orochimaru's for some reason. And wasn't she good at mimicking jutsus or some sh'it?
