It's a forum, not an image board, threads are expected to last longer than just 1-2 days. My Nexon Announcements sub-forum is ordered by thread date, not last post date so it isn't that bad anyway.

Those of us using "what's new" to browse Southperry, though... get all excited to see a thread about maintenance suddenly pop up.
Perhaps we should do like Nexon, and lock Maintenance threads shortly after said Maintenance is done. (Nexon outright deletes the notices).

Or people could just not be dicks and actually try posting something of value 5 days after the last post in an outdated thread. Although by us all complaining and arguing in here, we aren't exactly helping the problem.
