More story!

godofturtles Wrote:The two obvious parts besides the awesome doorway image and wrecked town stick out:

"Rob and Stirgeman stood dumbstruck as the spotlights swung toward them and a horde of beanpole beasts from beyond the stars merged on their position."

and

"The gangly figures that walked amidst the site had large, glassy eyes that made it hard to tell where they were looking, and their strange, squeaky language sent a shiver down his spine."

Your reading comprehension leaves a bit to be desired.

Not if you make it as tall as a Werewolf and make most of its height come from uncannily long legs.

What's that art from though?

An area with variants of low level monsters with high stats could be cool. A Mushmom that needs a full expedition of endgame players would be awesome.

It'd need some original graphics though. Maybe it could be a little bigger than the normal one? Or heck just make it enormous and immobile. It could summon gobs and gobs of regular mushmoms/mushrooms as shields.

I'd rather have a massive slime boss actually, perhaps some kind of Slime Goliath.

Usually King Slime is the first boss monster a mapler is likely to encounter (though i'm not sure if thats still the case due to the PQ revamps, haven't done one in ages), and at that level it WAS challenging.

Making a King Slime boss that's challenging for endgame players would rock my socks.

But Mushmom is the terrorising ruler of Versal, not King Slime, which is probably the only reason it's even been brought up.

Yeah it's supposed to be like the opposite world of our current maple.
So low level mobs from our maple are super strong there if I recall correctly.

Is that it, there only like 2 monsters that are similar, slimes and um don't even know... Everything else is either an exact copy, like Yetis, and Firebombs, or not even close to the same thing.

Huh what, we have no versalian monsters other than the twisted masters and their underlings in CWK, Nightshadows, Firebrands, Windraiders and Stormbreakers.

And your attitude isn't needed. I know they are gangly, but you do know that a beanpole could refer to the beanstalk? And there is an area called Vineland that isn't released yet? And look at the one image of the NLC outskirts they showed us, does it not look a lot like the same map the beanstalk is in? Maybe it's not a direct path to the stars, but it seems like it could be related. Seriously, no need for your kind of comments, it's not like I'm here spreading intentional lies so don't be rude.

Welcome to southperry, where everything you say can and will be picked apart and insulted, especially opinions.

I personally thing the beanstalk makes more sense since nexon's intelligence (and therefore lexicon) is usually lacking.

Oh, I thought you were describing Basil, where grammar nazis, trolls, and spammers rule supreme. And honestly Nexon's intelligence is not lacking when it comes to Masteria's storyline which is way better represented through quests than any other quest line in the game except maybe magatia which still doesn't reach the level of masteria. And besides, they could have used any word to describe the aliens, and yet they choose beanpole which could be a hint at the freaking huge beanstalk that leads to what exactly? We don't know yet, but wouldn't it be great if it did lead to another world whether this patch brings us that world or not?
