How was your day?

it's awesome. Some people can be weird and ugh walking traffic can be annoying. Aside from that it's amazing.

Stress level--A quick cry sounds nice but I don't feel like putting in the effort. Why is it only tuesday?

I have to get ready for a SOL and a test in German tomorrow then with lots of homework on Thursday (I have to do a 10 paged packet for Math that I've got little of it done in class, a project for English, and a front and back worksheet for geography) and lastly another SOL on Friday.

Oh joy, I just cant wait for the weekend to come already. Tongue

Forgot how much homework I regularly do a day over the short 1 week of spring break. Getting in the grind again is going to be hard.

It's fantastic. One of the many great cultural hubs in the United States. Sausalito, the small artisan town just north of the downtown area, is actually on my list of potential places to live and raise a family after my time in NYC. If you go out make sure you go to Ghiradelli Square and enjoy free chocolate.

OT: Literally every single day of my life is a timeline of insanity - and I love it. Class, work, class again, UWFW drama, speed finishing a problem set to drop it off before another class, work again, then home to eat dinner, apply to another bazillion summer internships, finish some pseudo lab reports, and read gay articles for my LGBT studies class, if I have time.

BLAH.

My 19 year old cousin has a severe case of Thyroid cancer, apparently the worst ya can get and they have to remove the entire gland. Sucks because he's gonna have to take some pill for the rest of his life Sad.

OT: Can't wait to be back in school. Work is ok, but science and medicine is more interesting.

Was told a week ago by my doctor that if my weight trend continues (as it has for the last 5 years - currently in the third percentile for my age/weight/height/whatever), I will most likely die before I am 25
My current medication (~91 pills/week) is no longer working for my Crohn's Disease, and will be switching to an IV medication every six weeks
I have started several weight gaining activities, which are very difficult to keep up because the medicine does not work and I feel like absolute garbage 24/7

Was asked to prom today, and had to say no because I am unable to attend because of said health issues (not too worried - didn't want to go with them anyway)
Was banned for a month two days ago while trying to CC and Nexon's servers were having hardcore lag
In those two days I have started and accomplished quite a bit of several projects and have started (re)organizing my plans for my Eagle project (they were put on hold because of health issues and then never started because of procrastination)
I received my 5th (out of five) college acceptance letter a few days ago (WPI, UVM, SUNY Albany, SUNY Buffalo, and a community college) with five more colleges to go (MIT, Cornell, RPI, U of Rochester, Union), which are coming out this week and next

so yeah, these past couple of weeks have been.. interesting
still bring a positive attitude to school every day no matter what ! (and I absolutely LOVE hearing why other people think their life sucks)

first post in this thread. feels good mang.

Man Marksman Bryan, I'm sorry to hear that. I have a good friend whose boyfriend has Crohn's, but his weight fluctuated to the opposite direction of yours, though not it's not at an unhealthy level. Still, I strongly sympathize with your health issues; Crohn's is nasty.

Am able to quantify a little nagging feeling I've had since I started wandering around for interviews and Winter/Spring break travel.

Nowhere feels like home right now.

The house of my parents still feels nostalgic, but it keeps becoming a little more foreign. My dad keeps accumulating furnishings and knickknacks from various family members who are also moving around right now. It's the house I grew up in but it isn't my home any more. Last year, my dorm felt like home. It was my own space and I was happy to be there. This year, it feels more like a base of operations. I sleep there. I entertain myself there. Having a roommate again has kinda destroyed the sanctity of what was my space. Being in the same room as last year doesn't help either. It feels like someone else has let a stranger access my base and stuck a bed in there for him to sleep on. I wonder when and where I'll be when it feels like I'm home again.

I'm still pretty lonely.
