Eos is causing the instabilities and slow down to the Maple servers in an attempt to promote usage of his "GMS Status" service. It's by GMS Status' own action of checking the servers that it causes the instability. They demand so heavily from the cardboard Nexon servers that they just fall one by one.
We should all boycott GMS Status and Eos' evil schemes. We don't need that illegitimate bastard luring us with false promises.

Or it was Riukuzaki and everyone else who decided it made more sense to make their own version from scratch than to link to ours ruining it for everyone.

C) MapleStory has almost 300 servers, what's going to stress those servers out more? Everyone checking a single site that pre-checks all those servers at a fixed interval, or a few people here and there each checking 20 different sites that are all checking those 300 servers constantly?

It would be pretty ironic if Eos inadvertently created a method of bringing down the nexon servers through a tool that checked to see if the servers were down. paradox material?
