Cherry Blossoms

Current WIP of an oil painting on an 10 inch wide by 36 inch long canvas 9self built). I estimate I am about 80% done. Easiest part left will be the hair. I hope to have it finished by tonight, and better images of it to come in a few days.

I love the shading on the hands, i didn't really see the painting close up on your livestream, it's looking great

Wish i had enough patience for painting frequently, i hate waiting the paint to get dry so i can continue on it without damaging everything. D:

With a lot of it, i need the paint wait. Im kinda worried about redoing the background, cause the shading/blending of the line where the background meets the skin tones will be off a bit if I mess up because its dry.

Going to be about 1 more night and I should be done. If I am not, its because I am touching up a few areas.

That one was all kinds of funky. Im not sure if I can do much to fix that though, because the angle it was taken at on the photo, the hand is mostly coming straight out of the picture, then the fingers curve. I did touch up the index finger and made it thinner. That should help a bit.

Going to be one more night of painting and then Im done. I should have better pics tomorrow.
