I was playing with a couple students from the LoL U, and I decided to try out Fiora for the first time in game. Opponent? Irelia. fml!

However, at one point, I did manage to freeze the lane in front of my turret (blue side) for a solid 5 minutes. Irelia was apparently really afraid to approach or something, cause the next time I saw her, she took her jungler's red buff, and just wandered around everywhere.

In the end, I took three kills with fancy rapier shenanigans, including a Q following a flashing opponent over a wall.

My god. Fiora is amazing. She plays like Riven/Yi/Irelia.

My build is Wriggles > Mercs > Trinity > Wits End > Guardian Angel > Last Whisper. Do the so good damages!

Masteries: 21/9/0

Arpen reds, Armor yellows, MR/Level blues, AD quints.

Max R>W>E>Q.

W for the passive damage and exchange, E for amazing steriod and chase tool, Q for chasing. R is mostly your finishing move to kill somebody.

[COLOR="#cc8899"]I've run into a couple Fioras, mostly of the "OMG NEW CHAMPION" variety, but she seems to be pretty solid in blind pick as a solo top. I've seen someone trying to jungle with her too, she seems like she'd be a bit slower but has decent sustain. Two or three of them have been able to cause significant problems in teamfights due to their mobility/parrying important auto-attack reliant skills. Curious if she can parry her own Ult in a mirror...

Thornmail seems to be a larger problem for her than most champions, though, given her reliance on auto-attacks. I'm not certain if it works against her ultimate, but it wouldn't surprise me, given that she can cause on-hit effects with it. Oh, and her Blade Waltz seems to work really well with things like Wits End - I'm pretty sure it gets full stacks from a single use of Waltz.[/COLOR]

Forgot to mention re: Fiora - I primarily play as Blitzcrank. I tend to rely on my E (punching them into the air and doing double damage on the next autoattack) and Sheen/Trinity Force for a significant chunk of my damage (and CC, in the case of the E). Both effects are telegraphed extremely obviously. A well timed parry kills a lot of my damage output, and her invincibility during her ult is pretty obnoxious. Ignite goes a long way towards fighting her, though, limiting the usefulness of her passive. I use a support-heavy mastery build with Blitzcrank, complete with -15% cooldown on my summoner spells, so I tend to be a bit more aggressive in using Ignite than I would on most other champions, though.

I played a co op the other day with her to practise and due to trolls the game went on for 1 hour and all the bots were really tanky, and i couldn't kill any of them with just trinity and wits end. I used to go 12/9/9 masteries on her but have since changed to 21/9/0 to try and fix it but yeah.

I did? No, definitely not on purpose. That happened to Kajiti once after I played with him too. I'll fix it when I get home.

@above, I too have noticed a growing number of tanky bots. To a point where an alarming number of bot games I play with randoms end up having us curbstomp early game (to the tune of 25 kills to their 5 or so) only for the bots to inevitably start pushing with perfect coordination and much tankiness. They start getting hyper aggressive really quickly. It's scary. [/COLOR]

Try using Ghostblade or Atmogs. Maybe Black Cleaver.

Hee Shurelya! Nice to meet you. So I heard you're the creator of Lux? She's my favourite champion in the league and probably my most played champion. I'd really like it if you could share how you build her and why.

I myself usually go glass cannon with a combination of sorcerer shoes, dorans rings, deathcap, void staff, lichs bane, morello's evil tome, zhonya's hourglass. 21/00/09. flat m. pen marks, scaling mana/5 seals, scaling ap glyphs, flat ap quintessences. Going Q if fighting, if not E first prioritize R>E>Q>W with a point in W at level 4. I usually buy some wards early game when I've the slots for it to snipe away blue/dragon with laser. I only ever go the catalyst road when I'm against something as Leblanc. Interested if you're supporting with her too because whenever I try that path with her I fail miserably when the enemy has a 'real' support as Soraka or Sona.

I've been playing Fiora quite a bit and she's ridiculously fun. I got the 14xx champ+Nightraven bundle and I've been playing her pretty consistently, she isn't op, and her ult isn't nearly as useful when there's only one person to use it on. Every strike in her ult is counted as an autoattack, because I got wrecked by Annie's shield near the end of a game last night.[/COLOR]

I don't get how people can think that Shen isn't good. When he can taunt everyone on your team in one go, not die, and completely dominate a team fight with 0 deaths, there's something wrong.
